"Mmmmmh... not for me. I think to each his own. I wanted the Middle Eastern cafeteria vibe, wanted to be blown away by taste and selection, that did not happen for me. When I got to the meat choices, I locked up. Lamb or chicken curry. Neither looked very appetizing. As soon as I said chicken curry I regretted it. A few scoops of the watery soup. With chunks..." "Solid mediterian food at a good price. I'm not a huge fan of the food, but most of the other people in my group were. The humus and lemon potatoes were both alright, but nothing special. I tried the onion humus which didn't have much flavor, perhaps I should have tried the spicy? The lamb gyro meat was tasty and a good sized portion. The best thing I had tho..." Read more

"Came here at around 930ish parking is very limited right behind the restaurant if u drive a little bit down there is additional parking specifically for Alladins. Once in you have to take a huge step up lol I felt like I was in a different country not the usual entrance. The staff that served us was very patient she Le us taste the meat before getting it. "This place is pretty much a Mediterranean chipotle. Both in style and flavors. I would have given this place a 4 but it was just a little too dirty for me. The most common orders are the combo entries. You get 2 pitas, and get to choose your meat and 2 or 3 entries. The portion sizes are pretty big so you can definitely share. I had the chicken kebob, lemo..." Read more

"Aladdin could really be four stars if they executed better. Located right next to Uchi and The Burger Joint on Westheimer, Aladdin has some nice decor but food is served cafeteria-style. Grab a plate, be welcomed with some hot, fresh pita bread right out of the oven, and choose your meat and veggie plate. Meats vary from kebabs, lamb shank, meat balls, and r..." Read more

"Came here for lunch with a coworker and I was amazed by their huge selection of side dishes and meats! I chose the 1 meat and 3 sides for $11.99. My coworker who is also began chose the 4 side dishes for $10.99 and then also added another side for a couple bucks. The entrees also come with 2 pieces of fluffy pita bread. We ordered our entrees as a to-go..." Read more

"Average Mediterranean place. Pita and hummus were great: shawarma meat was just eh. Didn't try the rest"

"It's the homogenized version of Arabic food. They are catering to a mainly mainstream crowd and the food seems bland at times. I have had Kababs in Turkey, Greece, Arabia, North Africa and my native South Asia so I look for a more authentic taste and feel. Nonetheless they serve good food just like their other Fadis locations."

"So I came here yesterday with 4 of my friends for dinner, we found the place to be pretty neat. You go down the line and pick what you want to eat and then pay. The pita bread was probably the highlight of the meal it was so soft and fluffy and if you add hummus with it it's even better! The spicy hummus was really good, although there was another green one..." Read more

"I have a love/hate relationship with this place. What do I love? Their juices and their spicy corn. What do I not like? Some of the food can be little cold. Can we make it a little more fresher!"

"This place gets very busy and the parking lot is a bit small. They have additional parking down the street. This review is a little biased as I am used to the amazing middle eastern food from Los Angeles' very own, Raffi's Place. The restaurant looks almost like they converted an old dive bar. As I entered the restaurant I proceeded to use the restroom (t..." Read more

"Seeing as how Aladdin has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp, perhaps my expectations were too high when I finally got a chance to try this restaurant last weekend. Still good, I'm not arguing, but not particularly deserving of a 4.5. LOGISTICS The restaurant is cafeteria style -- grab a tray and go down the line, selecting 3 out of 1) dips, 2) salads, and 3) hot si..." Read more

"Came here for dinner the other night and it's a cafeteria style restaurant. They have a 1 meat and 3 sides special for a good price and you get a good amount of food. However, I didn't see any other option.. What if you wanted more than one meat and less sides? Not sure how this works and it wasn't clear cause the special was the only thing on the board. Be..." "Decent atmosphere and good service. My biggest gripe was the amount of flies landing in my food. Normally, I don't care too much about flies, but this was a bit much. My wife and I were a bit disgusted. The food was really good. I got the veggie platter and they definitely don't short you on quantity. Honestly, my wife and I couldn't finish our meal beca..." "This was my first time to Aladdin on a recommendation. Prior to this, I was just going to Fadi's most of the time. The restaurant is clean and spacious, and they do have a great food selection. The fresh pita bread was delicious as was the chicken shawarma plate that I ordered. The spinach and garlic hummus was also very delicious! I have no real compla..." Read more

"Went to dinner on a Monday night with two friends. Aladdins is on the coolest corner in Houston. It also has a parking lot that gives the surface of the moon a real run for its money for the title, "surface of the moon." No table service here: You go to the front of the line, get freshly baked bread, pick a meat or falafel, and pick your sides. The food her..." Read more

"First time visiting Aladdins and it was OK - I ordered the spicy hummus, mixed veggies, cauliflower and a ground beef shish kabob for something like $8. The price was right for the amount of food, I ordered take out and have enjoyed 2 full meals and have one more snack left of the remaining side item. I say it's OK because I didn't enjoy the hummus or the..." Read more

"Good falafel, eggplant and pita. It is a very large/heavy meal. I wasn't impressed with the hummus. Reasonable price $11 vegetarian but they charged me the $14 meat price. Service could be a lot better. BYOB is nice. I have been twice but do not plan to come back."

"I wasn't impressed but maybe because I'm comparing it to Fadi's which is always great. I ordered the grilled Chicken, hummus, grilled eggplant and tabouli. All my sides were good but the Chicken was totally dry, almost not edible for my taste. The place is a small and kinda dark. I won't be going back with so many other great Middle Eastern food options..." Read more

"This restaurant has really great Mediterranean cuisine. However, they run out of food at odd times. And yes, I mean run out of almost all of the food (meat, sides, etc). "Good and tasty food! Kind of like Fadi's but in my personal opinion I like Fadi's better the can give you the option of half and half on the sides, here you just get 3 sides and one meat, the food was good very Mediterranean taste but I didn't like the fact that after your 3 sides are given to you you still have to wait for some of protein to be cook (if you..." "To be honest, I wish I could give Aladdin 3.5 stars. I loved the casual atmosphere and the fact that they have a lot of available parking space. But the food was a little underwhelming. "Let me just say that my expectations for Mediterranean food is very, very high. I have had some of the best in Dearborn, Michigan.
