"Eh. That's all. Okay, I guess I should say more than that. Aladdin is perfectly adequate Mediterranean food. Hummus is decent. Baba ganoush is decent. Meat is for the most part okay, although from time to time a little more charred than I'd like. All-you-can-eat pita is hard to argue with. Lengthy service times for the kabobs is a little easier to ar..." Read more

"I had lunch here today. The setup and decor is very much like Fadi's. I had the spicy hummus, roasted eggplant, and chicken shawarma. It's wasn't bad, but not great. I would go here again for lunch since it's close to downtown. The parking lot was not that great."

"I can't particularly hate this place... it's decent food.... Like Fadi's but not a chain. I don't like my Middle Eastern Food food served cafeteria style.... I don't like that some items seemed to have a heavy handed dose of vinegar (even the taziki sauce?) and the parking is horrid... I haven't seen that many holes in swiss cheese. It's solid but not imp..." Read more

"I wanted something different for my wife and I's weekly datenight. I was referred here and we were quite impressed. The price for the lambshank dinner we ordered was a little steep and the lamb had alot of fat on it. May try this place again in the near future."

"Nice bread, hummus is OK, meat is pretty greasy, not too great flavor. The veggies are pretty greasy too. Nice staff. Not the worst, not my favorite"

"Culling from the other reviewers, Aladdin offers a-ok Mediterranean cuisine, considering it has competition from Niko-Niko's, One's A Meal, and Fadi's, all within walking distance of each other. As Daniel H. mentions, it is set up like the Luby's of Middle Eastern food. You grab a cafeteria tray, your utensils, and a bread basket for them to fill (usuall..." Read more

"It's been a while my friend... I used to frequent Aladdin because it was close to school. I went last night after a long time and it's still pretty good. Warm, yummy pita bread with hummus and babaganoush, and now they added spicy hummus (although I am more of a traditionalist) Prices are ok, still a bit on the high side but portions are huge! There are..." Read more

"Tonight I ate here for the first time. The people were friendly and very nice. The food tasted good. Would have tasted much better had it been hot though. I don't know if it's because the buffect style setting is the reason. I hope it's not the same when I try again, which I will do."

"Aladdin's has good mediterranean food and a nice setting. The real high point is the bread, which they make fresh daily. The hummus tastes too citrusy for me, but this is possibly because I'm grounded in Khaleeji arabic food as opposed to mediterranean cuisine. The shwarma sandwiches are ok, but I think there are better ones to be had in Houston (Shwarma..." Read more

"If Aladdin weren't a fictional character he would be stealing bread from these guys... Seriously, their pita bread is served right off the oven to be used with their hummus. This place is right off of Westheimer and can be easily missed in the hustle and bustle of the four lane road. It is cafeteria style but don't let that fool you; they have some great..." Read more

"this is like the luby's of middle eastern food. grab a tray and move down the line picking out dishes you want. they have great pita and hummus. the falafel is just ok, and the lamb and chicken kabobs were both great. if falafel is what youre after, head up the street to fendi, but otherwise, this a great place for a quick middle-eastern fix."

"When I used to work in The Heights, this was the place I came in at least once a week to enjoy my favorite dish: the chicken schwarma. it was a great big old sandwich with fresh tasty veggies and the greatest sauce ever made. Granted, the chicken was a bit dry at times but the sauce always made up for it and it was just fabulous. Once you waltz in, it's su..." Read more

"This place was OK. I started with the cucumber salad, which was delish. I've had it elsewhere and it was too bland. This was one was perfect. For my entree I had the Chicken Shawarma and it was really good. Not sure the sauce thats used, but the veggies were really good mixed in with it. However, the chicken was a tad dry for my liking. It could have used a..." Read more

"My husband loves this place, but for me it's just OK. My "beef" with Aladdin is that one time I made a specific request that there be no meat or animal products in my falafel (as there should never be) and its fixings, but when they delivered my dinner it was covered in lamb! Since that episode, I haven't been able to go back -- but my husband and some of..." Read more

"I was recently in Houston and had the opportunity to drop into Aladdins for a late brunch. The parking lot was full but once we entered the cafeteria style counter was filled with fresh and aromatic dishes. I must admit that I am somewhat bais, as I am a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine and hummus and fresh pita bread would definately be one of the foods..." Read more

"I don't live in Houston but was here for 5 days visiting my friend. Him and his girlfriend took us here to get some food one night. I wasn't really familiar with most of the dishes and wasn't sure how the ordering worked at first.. The guy behind the counter was helpful though in answering my questions about what stuff was. They did give a large amount of f..." Read more

"Have you ever dated someone for so long that you don't remember why you liked them in the first place? That's the kind of feeling you get at Aladdin's. The food isn't great, the service is non-existent, the atmosphere is blah, and the location isn't convenient. So why do we keep going back there? Good question. Last time I asked, my friends said because..." Read more
