"Stopped off at this restaurant for lunch we ordered two sea food chowder we were disappointed nothing special. Saw other lunches going out that looked amazing disappointing that it wasn't what we were expecting more cream and seasoning needed also mussels would taste nice in it rather thank all chunky fish. "My party had 3 meals here over a recent break in Cushendall and all left with the opinion OK but wouldn't rush back which is a pity really. I had a steak and while there were no real complaints it was just average and I had a far better one in the golf club 2 nights later. "

"The chowder is fish not seafood, and although you get large chunks of salmon and haddock (I believe), the broth is thin. The bread served alongside was crumbly, but the beer was cold!"

"Although food was good, risotto my partner ordered came as the veg option although he ordered the fish risotto. An apology would have been nice and a smile from the girl who I paid the bill and tip to. Other members of staff were pleasant. As I said, service could have been more pleasant."

"We stopped here for lunch on our way to Belfast and found the food quite average. It wasn't bad and the portions were quite generous but it wasn't really special.
It didn't taste fresh. Tasted like something reheated.
The dessert was good though. Sticky Toffee Pudding.
The staff was always nice and very helpful."
