"With above average bar service, a pleasant dining room with a backdrop of the Bay, and better food and drink than you'd expect of its tourist trap location, I would recommend Fog Harbor as a first- or last-night-in-San-Francisco restaurant that's great for contemplating what's to come or what's transpired over the trip.I went simple, ordering a sourd..." "Located at Pier 39, the center of tourist spot. We enjoyed the dinner here with fresh seafood and nice view outside the window. The ahi tuna poke is more like a tartar. Tuna, mango, avocado and seaweed are arranged in layers with wasabi sauce. Yum. The shell fish platter - roasted with butter, garlic and herbs is my favorite. The shrimp and clams are super t..." "The crab roll here is just devine. I would come here just to eat it alone if I needed to. Its in an extremely touristy destination but if you stop by on a week night its not to hard to find free street parking just a couple of blocks away and it wont be as crowded.
Definitely recommend checking it out."

"THE GOOD:-If you're looking for great views and an intimate experience, this is the place for you. -Easily found on the second floor of Pier 39. -Most tables have a great view but that can easily be interrupted if someone asks to pull the shade down.-When I was there, they validated parking. Hopefully they continue to do that moving forwa..." Read more

"This place was pretty nice. Nothing that blew my socks off but nice:). The clam chowder was good but my local chowder is a little yummier. My sons pasta was really good. Calamari was your regular calamari-i enjoyed it. I have a little complaint on the crap cakes. It was $20 for 2 small crab cakes that I could've done without cause they weren't anything speci..." "First time at Fog Harbor Fish House. We were on the hunt for the best clam chowder and the reviews here were promising! Considering three of us ordered bread bowls and finished them, it's safe to say they were great! It is more of a New England style chowder. The fish and chips was also really good, and good portion sizes. We also ordered the Cesar salad wit..." Read more

"Delicious Sea Food!We live in the neighborhood and not very often wonder onto Pier 39 during the busy time. After all it is a very popular tourist attraction and can get way too crowded for our liking (i.e. long lines for everything!). Well, on this cold and quiet midweek day in January as we were taking a walk around the Pier, we decided to..." Read more

"We were staying near fisherman's wharf so this was definitely a perfect location. Food is good and ambiance is not too bad. Only reason it's 4 stars is because service was lacking. Couldn't find my server most of the times. When it was time to pay, we waited at least 20 mins for her and finally gave up so we had to flag down the other server. Dessert was..." Read more

"Dropped by for their clam chowder in bread bowl and seafood pasta with linguine! Given that it's located on Pier 39 a super touristy spot, I was skeptical at first but they sure did impress. The chowder was creamy? But the bread bowl could have been better. They claimed it was a fresh made sour dough but felt a little over-baked to me. Meanwhile the rolls an..." Read more

"The food was spectacular. If this review was only about the food, five stars! We had the seafood platter, clam chowder, and clam appetizer. Everything was so well done and yummy. Four stars was due to the service. It took them forever to bring my husband his clam chowder. Like I was almost done with my dinner before he got his soup. Additionally, he had to a..." Read more

"After spending some time down at the Pier. We decided to stop for lunch. This was a great spot. First the view is really nice as we were sitting by the window and able to look right out to the pier. The staff provided really good service. All 3 of us loved our food and were satisfied overall. Would visit here again when San Francisco. Until next revi..." Read more

"This place is located right at the entrance of Pier 39 and is no doubt a tourist trap. However, it has pretty solid food.We got the clam chowder bread bowl to start which comes with a sourdough bread bowl and approximately 10-12 oz of clam chowder ($12). The taste doesn't stand out from other chowders but it's a solid offering. This one definitely ha..." Read more

"Sunday's are great days for family time, especially when you're celebrating a birthday. Hopefully your party's a little smaller than ours since we had to be seated outside on a windy day. We arrived at 2 since that's what we had for our reservation and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes since they didn't have our table ready. So I guess if you're coming..." Read more

"Fog Harbor is a seafood restaurant located in Fisherman's Wharf. There is a parking garage that validates 1 hr if you eat at certain restaurants, but the hourly rates are quite pricey. Street parking is very limited. Fog Harbor overlooks the bay so there is a nice view for some of the tables. Service: We had joined their Yelp waitlist and were able t..." Read more

"Very nice restaurant a little hard to find it on the second floor first set of stairs when you enter Pier 39. Food was good nothing that special but nice presentation. Definitely a nice date tourist restaurant. Had the scallops with risotto for my taste the risotto was too buttery. Nice touristy restaurant."

"RATING: 4.4VERDICT: Even though many consider this a tourist trap, it definitely lived up to its name and rating.I love seafood, and was visiting fisherman's wharf when I decided to decide for myself if this place had an inflated rating from tourists. "Scallop and crap risotto 10/10 perfectly cooked scallops and risotto. Bounce to it. Usually the risotto is not fully cooked. Crab is very subtle in the risotto.
Shrimp Avocado salad added crab 7/10 refreshing crunch. Bang for you buck for added crab.
Crab cakes 7/10 your typical crab cake."

"I was visiting SF and decided to give this place a try because I was craving oysters. For apps we got the tuna tartar, oysters and calamari which all were phenomenal.
