"NOT DOG FRIENDLY They kicked me out of the restaurant because my well behaved dog, who laid next to our table and never once barked or begged apparently made somebody uncomfortable. Their loss. I'll go somewhere where dogs are welcome like motorworks or caddy's on the pointe from now on."

"So we were seated . Ordered our beverages. And then a manager comes over and says we made a mistake and need to move you. This table is reserved. The manager then moves us to the exact table less than 2 feet away. I then said " What? ThIs is the exact same table. IT IS HIGHLY UNUSUALY TO MOVE A SEATED TABLE. "Wouldn't take reservations so our party of ten ended up waiting an hour for a table although we were told on the phone that if we got there between 4:30 & 5:00 we would be seated quickly. "Ordered a dozen oysters as an appetizer; waited 30 minutes and they finally came out. That’s were the compliments end. Steak tips on a skewer were the worst ever experienced. "Food on the floor, menus were sticky and dirty and took 15 minutes for a waitress to even get to our table. Sat us at a six top when we were only two. I was hoping to do something special for my wife's 40th but we left disappointed and was thankfully able to go somewhere else."

"Horrible.. We sat there for over an hour before we ever got our bread. Then once we order it took another 30 to 45 minutes to get our orders. The fish tasted like it had been freezer burnt and the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant mashed potatoes. They add 18% gratuity themselves and the waitress didn't deserve it. "I've been going to the River Reef since I before I moved to Florida. I always bring friends and family who visits me there. I love having dinner outside on the water. I have never ordered anything that wasn't delicious. The service is always good. I would highly recommend this to anyone."

"I have enjoyed light lunches here many times but last night's supper was extremely disappointing. The inside dining room was too noisy to carry on normal conversation. The food was bland and very much overpriced. Cup of soup and quesadillas $24.00. (no drinks) No thanks."
