"Regarding a recent to-go order, it's expensive for what I received and it did not have much flavor... I ended up tossing the food which I rarely do. I have been to an event catered by Tso and the food was quite good that day."

"Order took over an hour to be ready for pickup. It's great that everything is made to order, but geez! By the time you get your food you'll be on your deathbed! I suggest ordering at lunchtime to get it by dinner time!"

"My wife and I used to order delivery frequently and it was always great. I don't know what changed, but things have gone downhill. Multiple times they've incorrectly made my wife's order (who is vegan) making her dish with beef instead of tofu. I understand that mistakes happen. The first time the quickly remade it and delivered which felt like the best solu..." Read more

"Tried this place for the first time and ordered combination fried rice with wonton soup and egg rolls. I didn't care for the fried rice at all and the wonton soup had 2 dumplings in broth with a couple of chives. The soup was not the wonton soup I'm used to ordering. I did not like it. I won't be back."

"I will unfortunately not be able to order from Tso anymore, because twice now I've gotten very sick after eating the beef noodles. It was my favorite dish. It tasted good, the customer service was great, but for the second time I was very ill hours after eating and so I can no longer enjoy Tso."

"I tried to place an order for only the general tso's chicken. I get to the checkout part of my order and the online ordering system won't allow me to place the order because the subtotal has to be more than $20-$21 dollars. I added extra items to finally get the order to go through. The food was delivered and I wasn't impressed. The food had little to no fla..." Read more

"Before reading any further, if you're looking for quick and tasty Chinese, go to Panda Express..This takeout and delivery only place is a bit odd overall. In order to even place a takout order, I had to make an account, furler prolonging the already difficult online only order process. This place does not take phone call orders. In addition to the di..." Read more

"There's a reason why this place is somewhat highly rated. Clearly people enjoy the food. That is why I chose this place for the first time. Even the lady I spoke to waiting for her takeout said so. I should have asked what she ordered. What I ordered was so disappointingly non-delicious. I had the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The mayonnaise sauce they..." Read more

"When TSO was first offered in Austin, it was very good. But as time passed, like with many businesses, cost cutting strategies seem to appear. I was a big fan of Drunken Beef. Until last, I had not tried TSO for a year because I received a terrible tasting mushy Drunken Beef. I saw TSO bragged about a new Drunken Beef recipe, so I tried it. NEVER AGAIN. Too..." Read more

"The flavor of the Sesame Chicken sauce was good, but the chicken itself was overcooked and just plain chewy; and had zero crunch to it. It was also mostly just dark chewy meat, very little white. Disappointing considering the high price for the food, and the restaurant having such high ratings. It was below average at best; I couldn't even finish it."

"My mom and I wanted some good Chinese food since we hadn't had any in a long time. So I suggested we try this place since the reviews were so good. I ordered the bok choy w/ brown sauce and the orange chicken with broccoli. My mom ordered the crab ragoons and shrimp fried rice. We both were disappointed with our meals. My chicken was cooked hard and had no f..." Read more

"sauces are good and the tofu is well prepared, except that it is cut into far too large of pieces. tofu is at least three times the size of what I would classify as bite sized. meat dishes appear to have bite sized cuts, so I am not sure if this is a conscious decision to make the tofu Dishes worse by making it harder to eat and ensuring that the protein to..." "FROWNING as I eat it, how sad. It doesn't matter what dish I ordered, the veggies are all hard and undercooked OF COURSE, why did I expect anything different?? The rest of the dish, bland. Isn't Chinese food known for its depth? The hot n' sour soup, I had to DUMP IT down the frickin' drain because it literally tasted like nickels, yes METAL. Thanks a **** i..." Read more

"genuinely surprised this location has such high reviews, i expected good food. i ordered orange chicken and egg noodles for $17. so expensive, first of all. second of all, the chicken had such an off putting texture to it, did not taste good or like chicken at all. some parts were chewy , some were crumbly(??) , some were dry. only reason i put 2 starts inst..." "I'd love to give Tso a better review but here's my issue. Any time you're charging almost $20 for delivery Chinese food, the standard can't be low quality/dark meat protein. It just can't be. I've had plenty of Chinese takeout in New York and the quality is better there for half of the price. The delivery is great. The driver tracking is great. The food just..." Read more
