"Apart from the beach being beautiful in nice weather I really do not understand all the positive reviews. This "holiday" park is like something from the 1970's. "Extremely disappointed that the pool is only open for members when the rest of the clubhouse was open to the public. Walked from Aberystwyth over the cliff woth two kids and our swimming bag only to be turned away. Does not say anywhere online that the pool is closed to the public."

"So to start off not dog friendly at all telling me where I can and can't walk my dogs also have to be on the lead at all times. "Unfortunately, did not met our expectations, site was very basic caravan again was not what we paid for. Very small size design of the caravan was poor. Chippy on site was poor quality of food only plus was the ice cream burger dinner. Not a very good dog friendly beach and it's a very small beach. "I definitely would not recommend staying in these caravans, me and my mum were visiting my sister from university for a few days and this is what we stayed in. How they thought this is acceptable for anyone to be in is beyond me!!! There’s a little beach close by which was nice but definitely would not recommend the caravan site."

"The site has gone worse and worse over the years, No improvements to the park. Entertainment very poor, no kids club, the pool was cloudy and the food at the front over priced and horrible. I know of 2 families who were ill after eating there. It’s such a shame as was a lovely place just avoid at all costs"

"Did not stay an the holiday park. We took our motorhome and tried to park by the beach. It seems the caravan park has taken over. It is no longer Clarach Bay for what it used to be, it is a holiday park nothing else. The charm has gone."
