"Stayed here one night while in L'anse aux meadows touring the sights. Charming place, beautiful view of the ocean. Well kept, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Judy and Cassie took good care of us. Breakfast was delicious; had a choice of hot, cold or combo of both ... jam selection was yummy."

"6 of us spent 3 weeks traveling around Newfoundland and this was definitely one of the best meals we had. Everything was fresh, good menu variety, reasonably priced for the quality and quantity."

"Great tour - super friendly service. They are actually located in St.Lunaire-Griguet - a very quaint town on the way to L'Anse aux Meadows, north of St.Anthony. Captain Keith is great. We went in to ask information and he ended up offering a tour for just 2 of us on the spot!! Had a great afternoon following a humpback whale and her calf. Highly recommended!..." Read more

"We dropped in for dinner. There was a sign advertising live music. There were 26 people on a bus tour and a few others in the restaurant. Our server was very pleasant and the food was excellent The cod gratin and the fish cakes were both terrific. The music was entertaining."

"Went out with Captain Keith and six passengers. Not only did we see humpback whales but also got introduced to Cod Jigging. Was a perfect day with lots of local information and beautiful scenery. My favourite boat tour yet"

"Keith did a fabulous job on our tour. No whales on this day, but Keith made sure we had a great time fishing! Caught more Cod than you could count. Catch and release since it was a Tuesday. He worked hard helping all of us with the rods. We had lots of laughs. Even had the experience of pulling in a Halibut! Highly recommend this tour."

"Stayed here (2 couples) last week for one night. Rooms are compact but clean and sufficient. Breakfast was made to order and the common lounge was a good place to meet the other guests, have a drink and get tips on things to do etc. The food at Terry's restaurant, The Daily Catch, was very good. Thanks"

"This was a great boat tour: lots of information given, about icebergs and whales: and we saw both : Icebergs and minkes . A cool day, a bit of a breeze, but we were prepared with sweaters and rain-jackets, wind pants, boots, gloves and tuques . Lovely to see the rugged coastline from the water and so exciting to find the whales and icebergs: yes, the captain..." Read more

"This was such a fun tour. Keith took us to see the iceberg from all sides. He even let the guys "net" a broken off piece of ice so that we could all try it. He is soooo easy going and informative. Great Captain and tour guide !!"

"Keith Pilgrim will entertain you from the moment you make your reservation to the moment you disembark his boat. If there's an iceberg that he can get to, he will get you to it. If there are whales to be spotted, he will spot them. Totally down to earth guy. Highly recommended!"

"It can be a fair drive up to L'Anse aux Meadows. It was good to arrive to find the Viking Village was worth the journey. Good rooms, excellent lounge area to catch up with other guests. Breakfasts were good and filling. The guest house is quite convenient to Canada Parks and also Norstead. There were sufficient options for an evening meal within ten kms."
