"I chose this tailor on the basis of the glowing yelp reviews. I ultimately had 2 hugo boss suits tailored at this establishment.  Although, minor mistakes were made, JD the owner quickly ameliorated the situation and sticks to his 100% satisfaction guarantee.  Customer service is impeccable.  All in all a pleasant experience."

"This is a shop full of competent tailors staffed by polite front-desk workers. Furthermore, I was impressed by their embrace of modern booking and bookkeeping. Many tailors and dry cleaners exist in the "pen & paper" universe. This stereotype is almost accepted as "the way things are." I am happy there are merchants willing to push the en..." Read more

"They actually contacted me and I received a full refund since I wasn't fully satisfied and they also offered a free alteration for the next one which is a lot more than I asked for. So in the end they met my standards and appreciated that they came through on their word."

"Had alterations done on my wedding tux. I had them replace the buttons on my tux twice--both times, the buttons on the arms came back looking a bit uneven, but this may have been due to the quality of the buttons that they purchased. Ultimately, they didn't charge me for the buttons, which was fair. As for tapering, the first try came back a bit tight, but t..." Read more

"good but not great. I had a couple of dresses tailored here with very mediocre results. after the first round of alternations were absolutely horrendous they gave me a new seamstress to try to fix the mistakes of the first and the results were fine. too much of a hassle to keep having to go back and too much money to not be wowed by it at the end. i now go t..." "The price is ridiculous, they were asking $200 for shortening sleeves from shoulder for a coat. And JD or DJ(I kinda forget, their boss) said it would take 4 hours man labor for this alteration, which is totally BS. The most ironic part was, they were pricing on each side of sleeve, meaning I need to pay for $100 for each sleeve. Such an interesting joke. ..." Read more

"This is where you need to take all your "babies"...you know, your delicate, unique, complex treasures. I'm notorious for snatching up anything with sequins or lace, so I imagine I'll be frequenting this place a lot for restructuring vintage thrift store finds! However, my easy alterations, such as hemming, basic fabrics, etc, will be going elsewhere because..." Read more

"Found this tailor shop on yelp, and went off the positive reviews. Conveniently located, quality service, discount on yelp all pretty great. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the price. $25 a seam, is a little expensive in my book, maybe I'm just not used to NYC prices. Over all the place is great, despite the prices I continue to go back-that say..." Read more
