"Beda's is a local gem of a German restaurant. San Luis Obispo lacks good selection of ethnic food so its wonderful to find a good German spot. Beer selection is good. Food is authentic and if you consider German food to be comfort food you won't do much better than here."

"Best french fries in SLO! Beda's has a great selection of German beers and local wines. Fantastic and authentic German food. The schnitzel, sauerkraut casserole and hunchenbrot are my favorites. The atmosphere is relaxed and the prices are reasonable. Beda and his family make the place so welcoming and fun for the entire community!"
