"The tableside guacamole was wonderful.Go for drinks and that.Burritos came out warm, had to send back to heat them up.Taco's were good, but $13-$15 for 3 with rice and beans, was a little ridiculous.Restaurant and décor was very nice and the staff was excellent, thanks Shannon.Fajitas were good. They have different daily speci..." "We decided to visit this restaurant based a local review. The service was so poor it distracted from what might have been a good experience. No setups on the table. When my soup was served I had to ask twice for a napkin. The restaurant was virtually empty, but the waitress was never available. When she was present, we had to hear her problems. As for the fo..." "Came here for dinner, if I was younger in college, I'd probably be here every night for the waitresses and alcohol. Looked like a great crowd. For me at my age though, was too loud with the music to the point of having to yell to talk. They did have a live piano guy playing great drinking sing along songs though and a full very sizeable bar to sit at...." Read more

"Night started off poorly when they tried to sit our party at two different tables, had to point out that they could easily join three tables and make it all work. Once seated they forget about us until one of our party went and got menus and rounded up a server who, to her credit, stayed with us the rest of the evening.Food is average, overly seasone..." "Uninspired and mediocre at best. I skipped the margarita as I'm trying to stick to my dry January thing, and maybe that was a mistake. I got tacos al pastor. First, the reason you do a pineapple salsa is to replace tomatoes with pineapple. Tomatoes are fine but it's historically inaccurate to include them on the taco. Second, the lettuce was served already..." Read more

"We were great fans of Salado Pedro, which was the prior name of this establishment before it moved from Vera Cruz to a Tex Mex-style cuisine. Service was super slow last night, which was confusing as the place was not slammed. Had we not asked our server if our dinners were ready (after 40+ minutes), we might be still waiting to receive our food. Dinner, by..." Read more

"Early dinner of a wet burrito. I used to run Mexican restaurants in the southwest and am more than a little familiar with what makes a good wet burrito. 109 version is excellent. Filled Tortia with a green sauce and a savory cheese sauce topping. Just wright"

"This place is so much better than the Mexican place that was here before. The enchiladas mole' were very good. A word of warning: If you order flavored margaritas (one of the restaurant's specialties), they cost more than the menu says. Unless you argue with the server and the owner, which my group did. Apparently, this used to be highlighted on the old menu..." Read more

"I would definitely go again. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa and my tacos were very good. My friend's meal was a little more mediocre but I think it's just what she ordered.. It's a nice atmosphere and they had some music playing but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't talk. If you are at Gulf Coast and are hungry for Tex Mex flair, it's definitely w..." Read more
