"I have a somewhat unique dietary need related to fats, and was very pleasantly surprised by the service and responsiveness. It is hard to find a Mexican restaurant that can prepare a very lowfat but authentic meal. The manager checked in twice with me, the chef did an super job of preparing my meal, and the food was great. My husband's meal was also good, an..." Read more

"Fun Tex-Mex in a bit more upscale environment. While the TV's are going on all channels, the food has a bit of a new twist. Wet Fajitas are a new entree option for us, more like a stew full of good fun and spicy morsels.
Service was cordial ana attentive."

"The chief and I stopped here on our way back from the airport and were pleasantly surprised. Hundreds of tequila choices. Sat at the bar and had complimentary chips and salsa. Chief had the steak chimichanga and I had the Chile DeLeno. Both good and plentiful, nice servers too. Definitely a go backer."

"Our evening started off horribly with a flat tire; however, after a long wait for triple A, we were hungry and found Cantina 109, and the quesadilla was delicious! The server staff took great care of us and the manager (Mike?) personally greeted our table! Will be back for sure! "

"I was very concerned when we arrived at prime dinner time on a Saturday night and there were very few tables filled. Glad we stayed though. The guacamole was excellent! My wet burrito was very good too. I can't remember the exact name of it. But it's a stuffed pepper. That was delicious. Service was good. The margaritas weren't the best. The one thing I didn..." "Went there with some colleagues while in town for work. Blood orange margaritas were great, the food was delicious - we had the seafood enchiladas, ahi tuna tacos, and grouper tacos. Yum. The server was a little slow on requests, but very pleasant and we weren't in any hurry. Would go back if in the area again."

"Yum. We were planning on eating at another restaurant with some friends, but this one caught our eyes. So glad we did! The food was delicious. Table chips and salsa were very different but very good. No problem for them when we asked for enough salsa for each of us to have our own dish. Our party ordered steak fajitas, two taco salads with..." Read more

"Cantina 109 was walking distance from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Great service from the moment you walk in the door. The owner was warm and engaging and we were seated right away. The server brought over chips and salsa right away and it was great to snack on while we looked over the menu. We decided on the ahi tuna tacos and the street tacos..." Read more

"We were in town to move my daughter into FGCU. This place was a good choice. The prices are a little high, but our food was good. We were there on a Saturday night and had our choice of tables. Our server was a young man in college. He was very attentive. Salsa was good. We will return."

"My husband and I dine here often and enjoy eating at the bar due to amazing service. We love the fact that this place supports local craft beers especially High 5 from Fort Myers Brewery. The food is always fresh and accommodating if changes are requested. We usually go between 4-6 when it is not so crowded and you can't beat the happy hour prices. Highly..." Read more

"We visit Cantina 109 quite often for several reasons. The ambience is very cool- we love the metal lighting fixtures and dia de la Muerte decor. Foremost is the food though- sooo good, I especially love the shredded beef chimichanga and the enchiladas. The table chips and salsa are exceptional. The salsa is super garlicky- which I love- tons of flavor...." Read more

"Pretty good! Not gourmet Mexican or anything crazy special, but it was good & our server was really nice! Fresh, table side guac was good & the guy making it was nice & customized the guac exactly like we asked for it. We also got a pitcher of margaritas & thought they were super delicious. I got the 3 taco plate-I love that they have shredde..." Read more

"Stumbled upon this place because the original place we were going to dine at was out of business. What really caught my eye was the fact that they had "109 different tequilas". I was so down for some guac and margaritas after a very long plane ride. The outside isn't too vibrant but the food and drink are spectacular. Everything is made to or..." Read more

"The service was prompt and friendly. He was honest when asked between two different plates and provided great suggestions based on verbalized preferences. I had the taco salad and was very pleased. The portion was appropriate and the taste was nothing to complain about! Also, the margaritas are pretty delicious--I always go with the frozen ones!"

"Four of us went for dinner last night to celebrate two birthdays and first time to try this place. They had a special of enchiladas, three of us had them.
