"I judge the quality of food at Mexican restaurants based on margaritas and guacamole. Here the margaritas are def 5 star level but the guacamole was underwhelming. The restaurant is tucked away in the corner of a outdoor shopping mall. I recommend sitting outside. The jalapeño marg is what I got and it's a huge size ( almost too large to pick up) and delicio..." Read more

"Good go to for Mexican and margaritas! Items with sauces are generally more flavorful than "dry" items, and I particularly like the Mole sauce on enchiladas."

"A great regular spot for delicious Mexican food and Margaritas. Smoky salsa and warm house-made chips start the evening while waiting for the Margaritas to arrive. Quality food for those who don't want the standard piles of rice and beans on the side - there are options! Vegetables, black beans, plantains, salad... While we don't often go for the higher-..." "I went to Cantina for their club night and had an absolutely insanely fun experience. So many college students went to the event. The music was great. Drinks were great. The space was clean and I felt protected even when being body to body with everyone. It was not expensive at all to get in and one of the best nights I've had in Florida since moving here."

"Only been here twice. The first time, I had no issues. The food here is pretty good and not overly priced. That said, after bringing a large group of people (around 20) on Cinco De Mayo and having a bad experience, I'm not so impressed.Context: I visited this year during Cinco De Mayo. I called ahead twice because of our large party and was assured t..." Read more

"Family from Indiana were flying into Ft. Myers - RSW airport and wanted to meet for lunch, but needed to stay close to the airport, due to another family member arriving on a later flight. Golf Coast Town Center was a good place to meet. After consulting everyone's preferences, we decided to try Cantina 109 for the first time.We were a party of fou..." Read more

"Food is good. Service is horrendous. They seat you and no one comes to your table. You have to flag someone down for service. Management must not have a clue on how to implement good service."

"Had chicken burrito and plantains and a mai tai. Chicken was dry, barely any cheese in the burrito and it was my impression that there would be some type of sauce over top and there was not, very dry. Plantains were great, slightly over cooked, almost slightly burnt. Mai tai was pretty good."

"What a meal! Best chips & salsa we've ever had! And incredible service!! Excellent food & drinks, we were so impressed. We sat outside on the patio, and thoroughly enjoyed this great restaurant. "I find it hard to compete with Monarcha's but wow these guys really have a different vibe. The margaritas were tasty and so were the sangrías on for Sunday special. The fajita special had me and my wife content 100% especially with the authentic flavor. This isn't Taco Bell I assure you !! 5 out of 5 stars for me. Just put more lime in your guac! ;)"

"This restaurants atmosphere makes it a nice place to relax and grab a drink. All of their drinks are delicious and offer fun options like giant margarita glasses. Their table side guacamole is my absolute favorite that I've tried to replicate it multiple times but can not match it because they make their own garlic salt in house that I believe that makes it..." "Stopped by on a Sunday evening. Great service from our server, Emma. Complimentary chips and salsa. Started with a bowl of tortilla soup ($4.99); it was sort of thick in consistency which reminded me more of chili. A bit on the spicy side. For dinner I opted for a small Santa Fe Salad ($10.99) with a Tex-Mex vinaigrette dressing. The salad included chicken..." Read more

"Went to the college night on Saturday. Enjoyed it very much. Music was good and the place was packed. Had a bar seat and was served by one of male bartenders. I believe his name was Hunter and he was pretty funny and energetic. He gave us good overall service , I would attend again."

"Terrible service, we didn't see our server until about 15 minutes after being sat down. We ordered our drinks and our server didn't even wait for us to finish our order before she was walking away. "The chips and salsa are on point. Salsa is Fire roasted in house. You can eat it by the gallon. For my entree I got the the supreme chicken taco salad. Very generous portion, Flavorful and fresh. "It's a nice setting and convenient location for us. Overall the food was good but the service was really slow. I think it was a kitchen problem, don't know whether it's normal or not but everything came out very slow for us and every table around us"
