"Stopped by for a quick lunch. The mushroom pasta dish was just perfect. the decor is nothing to write home about, but the restaurant is clean and pleasant and the staff were engaging and helpful. Good food, well served at the right price."

"Stopped in for lunch recently. The food was good, reasonably priced and the service was quick and friendly. Just lacked a bit of atmosphere - was expecting a bit more given the name. Would love to see a bit more of a vibe here. Would go back, but not for a special occasion."

"We had a wonderful dinner at Johnny Franco's. For entrees the king prawns were cooked to perfection and the pork belly was tender with crispy skin. Our beef ribs were tender and had the smoky taste promised on the menu. The cocktails and coffees were top notch too. And then the service, prompt, friendly, not forced. A gem in Murbah - we'll be back."

"We were very impressed by this surprisingly good restaurant. Food was delicious , well presented. Friendly staff and minimalist but comfortable decor. Well priced wine list. Not much open in Murwillumbah on a Sunday night after new year, so we were lucky to find this place, and would recommend it and would certainly go back again next time in town."
