"I bought this blanket suspecting the image was misleading and that there was no 3rd layer inbetween the outside layers. That assumption was correct. The blanket is pretty thin but will work well as a picnic blanket and floor for inside our tent. I am writing this review just to confirm there's no internal padded layer."

"The bottle-green & navy plaid is a nice print in-person and feels welcoming. It is not padded, which I was wanting, but I like that it is lightweight, easy to fold, and warm in cooler weather. It retains heat under sun, so I am hoping it doesn't become uncomfortable and sweaty to sit on in the warmer months. Durable fabric that doesn't snag."

"Great packability and size. The material is not really designed to be used as blanket, but works well as a tarp or ground sheet. Can be used as the primary underlayer on a two man tent. It packs into the carry bag easily."
