"We were thoroughly impressed yet again with the MarineLab instructors and boat captains. Everyone was very good at checking in with us about changing weather conditions, changes to the schedule that needed to be adjusted due to the weather, and adapting to our kids and their needs. We did have two new labs that we enjoyed and would like to see again when we..." Read more

"Courtney is a gem! Her calm vibe and natural educator abilities resonated with the kids on our boat. I have heard nothing but positive feedback from all of the chaperones about the educators. Special shout out to Captain Eric. He kept the kids laughing and really set the tone for a phenomenal boat trip each time we boarded. All of the Captains made sure t..." Read more

"MARINE LAB is a very special place for students to work with passionate teachers of marine biology and to see what being a marine scientist is like, indeed, to try on the hat of a marine biologist. I've brought students MANY times and my students ALWAYS love it so much! Many have even said that it was the best educational experience of their young life!"

"Our students seemed to retain a lot of information and we enjoyed the land based classes that allowed student participation. All water activities were excellent. However Some classes were very lecture heavy- such as coral reef ecology and sea grass ecology and were a bit harder for our to give their full attention to the whole time."

"Favorite thing: The balance between instruction/boat time and free time is good. You keep them busy! but they still have enough time to shower and play volleyball. But not enough to get bored and start annoying the chaperones :)"

"Our students loved the rock shake lab! They also enjoyed both trips to snorkel. The only feedback we received from the students is they wished they had more time to snorkel at the mangroves and out at the coral reef. They loved being able to swim with the sea turtles and dolphins, such an awesome experience!"
