"I was a bit confused when I walked up and realized it was more a tavern/bar but looked like a diner. The service was good and everyone was really friendly. The food was ok portions were big. The meat in my sandwich was on the dry side but not bad."

"They have very good food, just disappointed to pay $10 for a breakfast scramble that had canned mushrooms. Canned veggies in Portland is a no no. If your going to charge this price, it should all be fresh. That said, this place is adorable and welcoming."

"Thank you again yelp for pointing us towards the right direction. We were in SE looking for a "diner" type place and this was the first thing that popped up. From the outside, it looks so unassuming with as it is in a small strip mall--you go inside and you're transported into this retro/punk/hipster diner that I feel like could be the set of a punk rock mus..." "A solid place- good food, good service, and a funky/divey atmosphere. The space itself and it's weird collection of kitschy weirdness brought me back to some of my favorite diners in Baltimore. But, the service here sure is nicer than anywhere in Bmore, that's for sure. The folks running the joint the day I visited were both super nice and our drinks were al..." Read more

"Unassuming but worth the wait. The French toast is deep fried so that in itself is awesome! The red gravy is super yummy. The staff was friendly but busy as always. We did not have to wait for service but I could tell she was really busy. Both times we have been in over all everything has been really good with really busy staff but they always make sure we..." "An early morning. Cold, grey skies. A typical winter day in Portland. A bike ride. Midpoint. Warm and friendly staff. Shadow boxes with knick knacks. Blue wallpaper with white flowers. Rows of old mugs up high. Sullen country music over the speakers. Willie singing a slow duet with a woman. Hot chocolate with a drizzle of chocolate running over the whipped..." Read more

"My only real beef with this place is how small it is. But maybe that's a Portland thing? I'm new to the brunch game and usually only going on the suggestion of others. Met up with some friends here and had to order a hot and iced tea cause the Earl grey was decaf. What kind of monster orders decaf tea? They did supply fresh lemon and honey when I req..." Read more

"Solid classic diner experience. Some of their food items seem simple on the surface, but they execute them perfectly. There always seems to be just the right ratio of ingredients. This is a well known and popular spot in the neighborhood, and you can definitely expect a bit of a wait anytime on the weekend. They open at 9am, and by 9:30 there is usually a w..." Read more
