"Shrimp muqueca is the best thing I've had anywhere. Fantstic kale. Great fried plantains. Don't order the Brazilian national dish - it's not great.
The gravy is useless to me.

"I love the moquecas here. For some reason, I usually come here with large parties, but I need to get around here with smaller groups, too, because it's amazing. I like the colorful decor and the cozy/snug atmosphere, but you kind of want a reservation because the wait can be long at prime times."

"You know those restaurants that you've come to time and time again that have never disappointed you? Muqueca, to me, is one of those restaurants. As a result I know that when I peruse the menu, everything is potentially delicious.

"My bf took me here for my birthday and we had to try the signature dish, the moqueca completa in addition to the seafood casserole. They were both delicious!
