"The specialty Moqueca was a bowl full of fish and stewed veggie goodness. So much flavor and warmth packed into the sizzling clay pot it is served in. On top of that, the fried Yucca are better than any French fries I've had in my life.

One of my favorite spots in the Camberville area for an affordable comfort feast."

"I love supporting local businesses. In the current environment it's getting harder to keep em around. And man I'm so happy I tried Muqueca. I'll be a regular moving forward!

The food and service were excellent. Brazilian classics! Definitely stop by if in the area"

"Muqueca feels like an authentic Brazilian local joint, lots of families and older people that I didn't know were in the area!Fried yucca served with a ranch-like dip, reinforced the potato fry taste. The yucca texture lends itself to looking like a natural thousand layer potato which was pretty cool. It does get a little dry on the inside though. Als..." Read more

"Muqueca Restaurant in Cambridge: A Whimsical Wave of Flavor!Upon entering Muqueca, you're immediately struck with a sense that perhaps you've mistakenly stumbled into a mermaid's secret dining spot. The aroma? A tantalizing dance of oceanic whispers. And the flavors? They're what Neptune himself would order on a cheeky night out!The name 'Muq..." Read more

"We had a delicious dinner here on a recent visit to Boston. First, they have a limited bar, beer wine and some vodka based drinks. That was fine, the vodka, pineapple, mint, Prosecco Cocktail was delicious. It was blended ice with fresh pineapple and was delicious! We also had fried yucca and sautéed shrimp for appetizer. I really liked the garlic and cilant..." Read more

"Simply the best moqueca I have had since I left Brazil. My girlfriend is from Porto Alegre, and I have now started a household-wide conflict by claiming that the moqueca here in Cambridge was just as good as her mom's recipe... I regret NOTHING!Impeccable juices. Cheerful and attentive service. My heart goes out to the owners for not being allowed to..." Read more

"I still remember when this place was located on the other side of the street, on a corner and could seat maybe 6 people. I've grown up on this food and it is my number 1 suggestion when people ask me for Brazilian food recommendations in the area. It is not what comes to mind when the average non-Brazilian thinks of Brazilian food, but it's a beautiful repre..." Read more

"Very nice neighborhood spot.  Unpresumptuous, and the food is good and fast.  As a slightly older restaurant, some of décor sports remnant of what may have been hip a few decades ago, but I don't think this is for the sort of individual that needs the sort of place that boasts the wood-trim-and-white tile setup."

"ADOREI! Nossa!!! Ive eaten Brasilian food in Florida, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Philadelphia and Massachusetts.....THIS IS THE BEST!!! FINALLY a Brasilian place that has food from Bahia (seafood, cassava, spices, plantains, beans, coconut milk) not the parade of meats-on-a-stick that everyone thinks is the only thing Brasilians eat. They even had TR..." Read more

"This is a wonderful place for dinner in the area! I highly recommend the lasagna de banana, at least to share. It's cheesy and sweet, crunchy and cheesy, and it's almost like a dessert.

The service is relatively attentive, and I enjoy the outdoor space they they open up when it's warmer and dry outside."

"Tudo muito bom!! Great, authentic Brazilian cuisine. You get the bang for your buck in terms of quality and quantity of food. It is a small place that does not take reservations but I've gotten lucky and find seating pretty quickly. It is on a main road but there is plenty of meter parking nearby."

"We ordered the moqueca de peixe (fish) and moqueca de peixe com camarão (fish and shrimp). The fish dish comes with a fish dipping sauce, and the fish and shrimp version comes with potatoes. Everything was served in a separate clay pot. They also came with a scoop of rice each and some powdered yucca as a topping.   I really enjoyed this, and althoug..." Read more

"An unassuming restaurant at the end of Inman Square stretch of shops and restaurants. Named after their clay pot soup, the restaurant was warm and inviting. Operated by friendly staff, the restaurant was decorated with an assortment of warm feeling colors and wood giving it a homey feel.
