"Muqueca Is my favorite restaurant in Inman Square. I love their muqueca - slow cooked seafood stews in clay pots. It was satisfying looking at the sizzling pot and the taste of the seafood and fish sauce was fantastic. The service was good and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended."

"Had my first muqueca this week. Seafood soupy, tomato, herby, goodness. With rice! Holy damn, this is some good stuff. Highly recommend for a fancy night out with friends or date night. They also do lunch (which is cheaper)."

"Muqueca is a fave in Cambridge without a doubt! Their signature stews named muquecas are delicious and the generous portion is perfect for sharing. An ideal meal with friends at muqueca involves one or two orders of the stew (served with rice and a dish sauce), side orders of the beans and plantains, a lasaña de banana for the table to share and tropical jui..." "This is now probably my favorite Brazilian restaurant in the Boston area (and I've been to a lot of them). The costumer service is very friendly and all attendants are able to speak English and Portuguese fluently. The food comes out fast and very well done. We got the "bolinho de bacalhau" (twice!) and it was delicious! We also got fried fish and "frango a..." Read more

"What an amazing experience. Being from Brazil, I try to go back home even if I'm not, and boy this place brought me back right to the streets of São Paulo. The staff is lovely and the food is just out of this world. We wanted to take some hot salsa home to AZ, but unfortunately, the bottle wouldn't be able to take the air pressure on the plane, and we are gl..." Read more

"One of my favorite places. I order the capirinhas to drink, the muqueca (seafood stew); and the banana lasagna, which is a cheesy and sweet course to have after the seafood. I also suggest the mariscada seafood dish."

"Food, service and drinks were excellent! Came here for the second time tonight and we really enjoyed the meal. Ambiance is casual and comfortable. We ordered the moqueca completa and the feijoada (spelling!) and both were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Our waiter was super attentive and even told us to order less, as what we originally thought was going to b..." Read more

"We LOVED this place. I had no idea that such a great restaurant existed in Cambridge. Super authentic Brazilian food - I got one of the Muquecas, and it was filling, flavorful, and exotically delightful. The waitstaff were attentive, funny, and inviting, and the Caipirinhas are delightful. It felt like I was heading to my Aunty's house for a delicious ho..." Read more

"YUM!!! Had the most enjoyable dinner experience here. I've never had Brazilian food before but this exceeded any expectation I had. I ordered a shrimp moqueca. It came in a sizzling stone pot with a side of rice. The moqueca was like a tomato based stew that had various vegetables and shrimp. The rice was standard but mixed together it was delicious...." "Had an awesome dinner here! We started with a heart of palm salad and the garlic shrimp. A tasty combo. Then, the main attraction was the fish muqueca- we got a portion of 2 to share between three people. The broth had coconut milk, but it wasn't creamy- it was pretty light and tomato-y. We also each got a rice, and got a side of sweet plantains and of beans..." Read more
