"We had a delicious dinner here on a recent visit to Boston. First, they have a limited bar, beer wine and some vodka based drinks. That was fine, the vodka, pineapple, mint, Prosecco Cocktail was delicious. It was blended ice with fresh pineapple and was delicious! We also had fried yucca and sautéed shrimp for appetizer. I really liked the garlic and cilant..." Read more

"Very nice neighborhood spot.  Unpresumptuous, and the food is good and fast.  As a slightly older restaurant, some of décor sports remnant of what may have been hip a few decades ago, but I don't think this is for the sort of individual that needs the sort of place that boasts the wood-trim-and-white tile setup."

"This is a wonderful place for dinner in the area! I highly recommend the lasagna de banana, at least to share. It's cheesy and sweet, crunchy and cheesy, and it's almost like a dessert.

The service is relatively attentive, and I enjoy the outdoor space they they open up when it's warmer and dry outside."

"We ordered the moqueca de peixe (fish) and moqueca de peixe com camarão (fish and shrimp). The fish dish comes with a fish dipping sauce, and the fish and shrimp version comes with potatoes. Everything was served in a separate clay pot. They also came with a scoop of rice each and some powdered yucca as a topping.   I really enjoyed this, and althoug..." Read more

"I've been meaning to try Muqueca for a long time but the place is always busy on weekends. I gave in and decided to try them by delivery. I ordered the Lasagne di Banane (plantain lasagna) which comes with a side of rice or salad. The lasagna was decadent and delicious. The best way to describe the dish is that fried sweet plantains were combined with a rich..." Read more

"I went here with my family tonight. This place was highly recommended to me by a colleague of mine. I would classify this as a Brazilian Seafood restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It's Cambridge so parking can be a bit tough but we still managed."

"Great neighborhood Brazilian restaurant! Plenty of authentic options to eat. A few basic options if you have a picky eater in the group. Full bar with great drinks. The caipirinhas were delicious! The sautéd shrimp was amazing & a must order! The steak was cooked to perfection. Great option for dinner in the area!"

"Went there on a weekday evening and it had the hum of a nice neighborhood spot. People were celebrating birthdays, on dates, or with their families. Felt welcoming and low key. We ordered the yucca with Portuguese sausage, the shrimp and fish moqueca, and the flan- this was plenty for two and left me stuffed. Of the dishes we ordered, as precious rev..." Read more

"Great restaurant for family and friends. All the food was tasty and hearty. Staff is friendly. Will definitely be back when I'm craving seafood and rice.

Must get a side of fried yucca: fried perfectly and not dry, with a great spicy sauce for dipping."

"I love their muqueca. Can't go wrong with ordering the dish after which the restaurant is named, right?? It's light, flavorful, complex, satisfying, and both good in hot and cold weather. Plus, the seafood is delish. Tender to the bite and cooked right. I love it."

"Everything from the caipirinha (similar to a mojito But sweeter) to the fried shrimp and fish appetizers ,to the fish and shrimp muqueca was absolutely delicious. The Muqueca was beautifully served in a clay pot. The flavors from this regional dish are rich and unlike anything found at other area Brazilian restaurants. The service was attentive and friendly..." Read more

"This place is great for big group dinners, but make sure to call and make a reservation. My two favorite dishes are the seafood rice casserole and the plantain and tofu moqueca. The vegetarian moqueca may sound off putting but I would argue that it's more flavorful that the seafood moquecas. I also love the rice that come with the stew! My only gripe is that..." Read more

"Good place to have dinner with a group. The yucca fries were perfectly fried and I highly recommend the fish moqueca. One clay pot is perfect for two people to share. Be weary of the automatic gratuity for 4+ people though."

"The food is amazing, for sure. I'd recommend the shrimp bobó. And make sure you throw in some hot sauce. This is a whole different experience from Brazilian rodizio, but something you should try. It's a bit more expensive than I wanted to pay, which is why I gave it four stars. Make sure that you try a dessert after-all of them are great, but the passion fru..." Read more

"A must try!The restaurant feels very homey and there were several families who were clearly regulars when I went- that's how you know the food is good! We had yucca, coconut shrimp, and crab cakes to start. Everything was delicious although the coconut shrimp was a little too fried for my liking. Their hot sauce is absolutely delicious, the r..." "We absolutely love this restaurant! While there are other Brazilian restaurants nearby, this place delivers the best fresh seafood. I ordered a crab cake, calamari, and seafood rice plate. The crab cake was delicate and perfectly moist. The calamari was served with a dipping sauce that was absolutely necessary considering the dryness of the calamari. Althoug..." Read more

"On a Friday night this place can get pretty packed. My friend and I fortunately didn't have to wait too long as we got their early. Note that this place only serves full parties. We got the fish muqueca and mussels muqueca and both were flavorful and rich, however the only distinguisher between the two was the type of meat. Both were tomato and onion broth..." Read more
