"Very welcoming on a showery day. We wanted to sit outside after a shower and the staff came and carefully dried the chairs. We had very well-filled toastie and Panini accompanied by a super little salad and coleslaw. Very tasty and excellent value. Highly recommended."

"Really nice spot and generous cake slices, including a lovely vegan chocolate cake. The staff were really friendly but service was on the slow side and we had our cakes a good 10 minutes before the coffees arrived. Also they charge 30p extra for alternative milks which seems rather unfair as they aren't that expensive!"

"Nice, friendly staff, scone was warmed up with a serving of butter and jam. 2 regular coffees and 2 scones came to £9.60 which for Tynemouth is about right."
