"Lived in the area for 76 years, first visit today. Nice facility on the river. GREAT server. Wonderful presentation of meals. But sadly, the nicely prepared plates were bland. Salt and pepper didn't help a bit. Two separate entrees, both lacking any flavor. Will not return."

"Went for romantic anniversary dinner. Waited 45 mins for a table only to be sat at the vacant table we stared at for 45 next to the outside DJ. Explained to staff we looked at that vacant table for 45 mins and then you sat us there? Food mediocre - no management cared to come by. Go somewhere else"

"Meal with a great view. This is my 2nd time here and both times had great meals. Had the Hawaiian chicken. Chicken was extremely moist - pineapple salsa not to sweet. Went well with the riverhouse rice. Other party had the Tampa bay crab cakes. Said they were one of the better ones around. Will be back for more sunset meals here. "

"Very nice restaurant with nice views of the water and boats at docks. Lunch was very good and service was good also. Some may consider meals a little pricey, but for going somewhere special with guests or a special occasions, it's worth it."

"I attended the Riverhouse Restaurant with 20 friends. The crab cakes were wonderful but the big surprise was that we could hear each other in spite of the large group. They have very high ceilings and curved walls so that sounds don't reverberate off of hard surfaces."

"Riverhouse decor has been updated and the view is wonderful. Outdoor heaters and a cover make it delightful for outdoor dining. Shuttle to the end of the pier is helpful.
Food and service are just ok. Waitress served meal with food from another meal on the edge of the plate. No attempt to remove the food. Manager was attentive and apologized."
