"There are much better places to eat at in the area. Ordered the jambalaya which was chicken and sausage w/1 shrimp in tomato sauce. No spice or flavor. Wife ordered crab cakes and same thing. The lobster corn chowder was the only saving grace. It also took 45 mins to come out. There are plenty of other better places to eat. Go somewhere else."

"Good food, great service, awesome location. I've gotten the blackened grouper twice, not sure what else to get it was so good! My friends always seem to get the crab cakes, they are huge and they seem to like them. The rand cakes come with a Cajun raumelude sauce. It's very mild but tasty they say."

"I've been here 6 times and gotten something different to eat each time, the food is that good. You can get a golf cart ride to the restaurant if that's or thing or you can walk. The staff is almost always above average if not, a step below. The sunsets are a must. Also go in understanding you are paying to eat because of the location."

"I was excited to try this place, reviews are great, but no....I got the Hawaiian chicken and it was cold! The broccoli (side dish) looked like it went bad, there was black areas that kind of looked like mold. I'm honestly taken back by the food they served me. The side salad was good, but that was it."

"River house waterfront restaurant is one of our go to restaurants once a week. Whether you sit inside or out, the view is beautiful. "I have food allergies and they made me a wonderful dish of steamed broccoli, roasted cauliflower and mushrooms sautéed in olive oil. We watched the lovely sunset and I ate safe food in a beautiful new place. Carrie really took care of us."
