"We went here because of all the good reviews. Also on tripadvisor. It is a very beautifull thearoom and the staff is very friendly. That's why we give it 3 stars. But further, it was a bit disappointing. We ordered an afternoon tea but the bread was very dry and so was the cake....."

"Nice staff, clean toilets, tasty food. 8oz coffee? We went metric 40 years ago. Is that an imperial ounce or an American fluild ounce? Who knows."

"Nice cosy venue with good friendly service. Reasonably priced and in a picturesque setting. Was busy as you'd expect but for a tourist attraction but got seated quickly."

"There's a good selection of gluten free cakes and scones here which are well made, much appreciated by gluten intolerant wiife. However there's no space for a pushchair inside and no baby changing, so is a little challenging for parents of young children."

"Excellent and friendly service. Fully knowledgeable about gluten free food and coeliac disease. They happily adapted a meal for me so that it would be gluten free and I felt confident that they were taking it seriously. The food was also great. I couldn't recommend them more. Lovely"

"Total süßer und kleiner Tea und Coffee Shop in diesem doch eher touristischen Ort. Es war gar nicht so leicht einen Platz zu ergattern. Sitzen taten wir doch etwas beengt. Wir hatten von herzhaft bis Kuchen eine leckere Auswahl an Nachmittagsspeisen. Am meisten überzeugten die lauwarmen Scones mit köstlicher Marmelade."

"Amazing tea room with lovely helpful staff. Was amazed by the amount of gluten free choice and knowledge of coeliac disease. I came here with my father in law and my fiancé and son. We all had a late breakfast here and it was fantastic. The lady who runs the café was really good with my son who's 3 speaking to him rather than around him which is lovely. They..." Read more

"Afternoon tea, treat for mother in laws birthday. Small tea room but good selection. Busy on our visit but good turnover of tables (we booked in advance hence table by window reserved for 4). Everything very freshly made and delicious."

"Lovely tea shop interior and very friendly service! We ordered takeaway tea but wanted to sit down for a minute as we had a little time and it was raining. That wasn't a problem at all and along with our teas came a plate for the teabags - usually not something you get without asking. Very happy! Cakes looked very good too, though we didn't have the time to..." Read more

"Simply the best scones ever. Good quality jam, and clotted cream in a dish, not a plastic tub. We arrived there quite close to closing time, but we're not rushed at all. Were just passing through, but would go out of our way to visit again if in the area!"
