"We had a lovely breakfast at Rixy’s. I had smashed avocado on toast with 2 perfectly poached eggs and crispy bacon. My husband had the full English which was made with really high quality ingredients. Friendly staff and clearly loved my locals!"

"Lovely place with great lunch and sweets! Everything we ordered is super lovely, scone served nice and warm. We love the Avocado, mushroom on sourdough a lot. The special menu of the day served the apple crumble which is nice and not too sweet! Will come back again for the afternoon tea!"

"We stopped on our way through for a late lunch. We had a 'cheeseburger' toastie and a ham, cheese & chilli jam toastie followed by carrot cake. The cheeseburger toastie shouldn't have worked but it was sensational! Lovely little tea room, friendly and accommodating staff and extremely reasonable prices."

"We came here for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The daily soup (pea and mint) with sourdough was excellent and our group loved both the savoury and sweet scones and even put in another order after trying them! The cafe also has a great back patio and very kind stuff that rounded out our great experience."

"I absolutely adored this little tearoom, I was on my own and I was made to feel very comfortable. The pancakes were excellent, price was very reasonable (about £12 for pancakes and a cup of tea) and the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back if I visit the area again"
