"T thankful this place was open late after watching a show. The esquite was my fave, wanted a little more crema but didn't complain.  I still didn't want to share it. Avocado balls, weren't bald just deep fried pieces of avocado. The chorizo queso was good until it got cold. The gooey cheese was no longer there. I would suggest a hot plate or a way to keep it..." "Pros: good service, open late, good chips and salsa Cons: $11 for a taco! A regular sized one! 2 tacos and and the fried avocado cost us about $45 including tip. I got the shrimp taco and it was in desperate need of salt or some lime to cut through the butteryness of the shrimp. Flavor was fairly bland. We also got the carne asada which was just okay..." "We were super excited to go here but were pretty disappointed. The michelada was seasoned well but had way too much of that and hardly any beer. It was wild. The food was.... Just ok.I love spicy food but everything had this deep intense spice that just kind of took over and made it less enjoyable. I was with 2 friends and they all felt the same way....." Read more

"Good and inventive tacos, but at $9-$11 each, very hard to recommend. They are street taco-size, so you need to order two or three. They give you strip chips and salsa, which is a nice touch. And, full bar makes the tacos go down easy. They were out of antelope and lamb the night we visited. Try as a novelty, but you'll probably appreciate your local taqueri..." Read more

"(3.5 rounded down to 3) Came to Sacred Taco on a Saturday evening with a group of 4 and were seated promptly without a reservation because it was pretty empty inside. Loved the free chips and salsa, thought the rest of the food was solid but overpriced. Service was good but slow. I'd hit up a different spot if ever in the mood for tacos while in the Marina a..." "I had been wanting to try this place for a while due to its fun decor, and a couple weeks ago I ended up going twice in two days. The first day I went, I was the only person there during lunch time, so I got great service and the quesabirria lamb tacos were pretty good and fresh off the pan. The next day I went with my boyfriend, but unfortunately we didn't..." Read more

"Got here for brunch. Could've sworn we saw brunch options online. But none in house besides bottomless mimosa's. "They're working on it". Asked for some recommendations. Ended up order quesadillas birria which were lamb. Came with some fixings on the side along with consume. I didn't like it. It was too greasy. And dipped in the consume, left a ring..." Read more

"Good but not great, pretty expensive for not very filling tacos. Love the back room seating area with the private bar."

"The Tacos sadly were very dry. Not very flavorful.
Tried the cricket taco which had a nice base to it, the others didn't impress much. The quesadillas were pretty bland. For the price, was quite underwhelming."

"I really really wanted to like this place, but it was incredibly bland. I tried three of the vegetarian tacos, and it was just not it. Possibly overhyped. I've had better tacos on the east coast."

"One thing called my attention when I looked up this restaurant, and that was the cricket taco on the menu. I ordered one as an experience and I was surprised at it being tasty. The texture wasn't as bad as I thought it would be eating bugs. It had a various mix of flavors but mostly was very savory. It was an odd experience for me though and I had to not loo..." Read more

"A huge disappointment. I was so happy that something finally opened at this location after being empty for so long. Besides the chips/salsa and margarita everything else was bland, especially the rice and beans. For the money I would go elsewhere. To pricey for such blah bland food."

"It was expensive and just okay. Ordered fajitas for ~50 dollars and they were only so-so. Kitchen forgot pretty much everything from our order, but that is only because they are new and were a bit slammed. My friends say the tacos are great but wouldn't recommend the fajitas"

"Great spot for an after work marg and to munch on chips & salsa. Not sure if I'll be back for dinner thoughIt's a new restaurant so they may be trying to figure things out still but there is definitely room for improvement. In SF, you get used to paying $80 (after tip) for two entrees and two drinks but I have to feel the quality of the food make..." Read more

"Food was decent and service was ok. The thing that's' really wrong is that they charge $11.00 for chips and salsa.  Guacamole is $15.00. A bit ridiculous. What Mexican restaurant charges for chips and salsa.  What does it cost them to serve that? $1.00. Needless to say I won't be rushing to return."

"I really want to like this place.  I may give it a second chance but the prices are high for the quality of food and drink.   It would be a fun bar."
