"Fantastic venue. Very helpful staff. My only complaint would be with the pizza oven - I wanted to have additional food alongside this but was told there would be no way we needed it - this in no way was true - guests were left hungry. "Very nice venue. Well appointed. Ideal for a wedding reception. Lots of parking. Only criticism was the slow pace of the bar staff, especially the young lad. As a former barman over many years, he needs to pick up his pace and be more organised. To be fair he might be inexperienced. Otherwise a most enjoyable visit."

"Beautiful venue! Wedding was gorgeous 😁 4 stars as meat burgers were really pleasing but the veggie option was a dry quorn burger in a bun which didn't look anywhere near as nice! It wasn't up to the amazing standard of everything else. Southend Barns just need to make the veggies feel as special as everyone else 😁"
