"The breathing techniques helped me throughout both of my births. I really enjoyed learning about the facts of child birth I had no idea about that all made complete sence and helped me understand how the body and mind works together throughout childbirth. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was due to there being lots of repetition which if not done wo..." Read more

"The videos are very informative. I’ve learned a lot about birth and it’s helped me to make decisions regarding what I would like my birth to be like. I was initially very worried about giving birth having heard a lot of horror stories but since watching the videos, I’ve had a much more positive outlook and I recognise that giving birth can be a happy experie..." "I attended a 1 hour special with Siobhan on hypnobirthing which i felt prepared me for the course. The course itself is helpful, but some things in practice do go out the window when you are ready to five birth. Best to start early and practice."

"Very helpful info and relaxation techniques. Only criticism would be that telling women they can’t give birth in a busy/clinical hospital setting sort of goes against the positive ethos. Many women can and do give birth under circumstances that are not ideal and the key thing is for them to feel empowered and positive in whatever situation they find themselv..." Read more

"Some readily good points explained really well but would benefit from some visual aids as well. Pictures, diagrams, animations etc would help the layperson visualise what is being described and also vary the teaching method slightly"

"Lots of course material. We’ve also done an NCT course so I feel like some things are a little bit of a repeat but you can take things as your own pace and skip through if required."

"Content was good but delivery wasn’t - would be better to deliver it as maybe a podcast? The stop and starts of the videos were annoying and one continuous play option would have been beneficial."

"I enjoyed the course and intend to make use of the tools during my birth. I like the bitesize videos and found it to be week paced. I found it tricky at points as my induction is already booked and so it felt at times like the stance the course takes was in opposition to my situation which was disheartening, however overall I'm still glad I did it."

"The course covered a good range of topics and brought in experts. Found it very useful and the way things were discussed were reassuring and not stigmatizing. Would have loved infant safety to also be highlighted!"

"Some great and really useful information as well as strategies for birthing. Did expect to there be more visuals however than just the same person speaking the entire time and also felt some of the topics discussed were very opinionated."

"Loved the hypnobirthing pack, really interesting, especially how scientific it is around impact of hormones. Needs more recognition of where some parents have less choice on the type of birth for medical reasons, and acknowledgment of multiples. We’re having twins so while we can use BRAIN to ask questions, some birth types just aren’t an option. This is oka..." Read more

"I found the Freya app invaluable for labour. However the course kind of went out of the window once I was in active labour. It's a great resource for first time mum's that might be nervous about birth."
