"Did not stay an the holiday park. We took our motorhome and tried to park by the beach. It seems the caravan park has taken over. It is no longer Clarach Bay for what it used to be, it is a holiday park nothing else. The charm has gone."

"Lovely place, been here many times, we used to have a caravan here too! Would get 5* but rhe only negative side which can jmoact a lot of people is how expensive the food and drink is on site. Some things I don't mind - paying £5 for a pint on the beach isn't a dealbreaker but spending £25-30 on chippy for 2 people is a problem. Luckily there is shops nearby..." Read more

"Great place to go with family and friends away from the city hustle and bustle. They offer deals for 3 nights starting Friday which was I felt was ideal outing. There are some options for food next to the beach and in the in-house clubhouse. The closest grocery store is 2miles in case you need anything and if you are lucky enough then you can get to see Sund..." Read more

"Fabulous caravan site, upgraded caravan really pleased. Nice quiet site apparently everything takes off from 26th May. My only disappointment was trying to get a meal on site after 6pm, apparently they decided as it was quiet to close earlier than normal but never told anyone 🙃 thoroughly recommend and yes I would return"

"The park itself is lovely, staff nice, just a shame absolutely nothing is happening, no entertainment what so ever in the week, probably different the weekends and school holidays, no buses from the holiday village while we was there so if you want a night out with entertainment and a drink then it's a no no, also no cash machines on site and a arcade with 2..." "Clarach beach is a good place to swim or paddle. It is less frequented than Aberystwyth or Borth and, as such it is more likely you will have a quiet time. The river that flows into the sea there creates a lovely pond that ducks are attracted to. The well built curved wooden bridge takes you over to the amenities which include toilets, cafes, ice creams, can..." Read more
