"It's a good base to explore. The walk to Aberystwyth is excellent but not promoted. We did have to wait four nights before soap was replenished in the venue, having asked three times. The pool is nice but small. Good access to the beach which is stoney. We did find the family quiz a bit of a let down."

"Stayed 9th June for a week. Lovely place very clean and peaceful. Don't miss the stunning sunset. Couple of things I think could be improved - opening and closing times displayed on pizza/pub bar, same for chip shop and snack bar. "Clarach beach is a good place to swim or paddle. It is less frequented than Aberystwyth or Borth and, as such it is more likely you will have a quiet time. The river that flows into the sea there creates a lovely pond that ducks are attracted to. "Did not stay an the holiday park. We took our motorhome and tried to park by the beach. It seems the caravan park has taken over. It is no longer Clarach Bay for what it used to be, it is a holiday park nothing else. The charm has gone."
