"Good pint of Guinness bit cheaper than I was expecting, had the ale battered haddock, chips and mushy peas from the pub grub menu. Really enjoyed it, good value at £10-95. There's a beer garden out the back, but oddly you can't get to it from the bar, only from the restaurant."

"Called in for a meal Thursday night. Place not busy. Cosy fire was nice. Shown to our table promptly by the waitress. Seating looked dated and grubby and the overhead lighting at our table was not relaxing at all. I ordered the Ale battered cod with chunky chips which was a good portion ...but the mushy peas however were overly thick and tastless ...looked..." Read more
