"My first review - wow I feel like a real Yelper now! This is one of my favorite place for REAL mediterranean cuisine. They have everything you think of and more when you're craving mediterranean. The food is all homemade and authentic! Servings are good size and usually require a take out box. The owner is awesome and will let you try new things and spl..." Read more

"This is a great restaurant, something for everyone. If you're vegetarian, have no fear, there is plenty to choose from. The pita bread is simply delicious and the selection is amazing. Parking is tight at times, but the restaurant shares space with LIttle Bigs next door. If I could only rate Aladdin on 1 item though, it would be the baklava. I wish I..." Read more

"I go to Aladdin a couple of times a month for lunch. I usually go with my mother who loves Mediterranean food. After I took her there awhile back she now refuses to eat anywhere else on our lunch dates. I usually go for their meat and 3 sides special for lunch. My favorite is the snapper, curry rice, green beans, and hummus. My mother enjoys the fish/chicke..." Read more

"I've eaten here quite frequently and try as I might to find something negative or catty to include in my review, I've been stymied. Everything I've ever eaten here is fantastic. The hummus is the best I've had in this country and they bake their own pita bread fresh several times a day!! My favorite is the shredded beef and potato stew. Honestly, I could..." Read more

"I always forget how much I like this place until I revisit it. Dozens of options and all of it's good! Some people seem to dislike the "cafeteria style" of Aladdin's. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that it makes deciding what you want an almost impossible task! The pita bread is fresh and delicious. The Hummus is the best in town. The veggie..." "I've eaten in restaurants called Aladdin in a half-dozen states. All they had in common was the restaurant name and that they served middle eastern cuisine. This Aladdin is by far the best of the bunch. The buffet style is simple and tantalizing - everything looks amazing. You can have meat with two or three sides, but I prefer the lamb shank special f..." Read more

"I've lived in Houston for awhile and always drove by this place and never gave it a chance, until recently....freaking awesome!!!! i heart this place! the eggplant veggie dish was yummy, the hummus, the pita bread, the chicken shwarma were amazing. Oh, and even the free water was tasty, c'mon??!!! I'm not much of a veggie person, but I would actually crave t..." Read more

"This is hands-down my favorite lunch spot, and I'm convinced that the chicken kebabs are the best in town. My friends order and enjoy everything on the menu, from the grape leaves and baba ganoush to the lamb and lentil salad, but I just can't stray away from my favorites: the aforementioned kebabs, the bright and fresh tabouli, and the cilantro potatoes. I..." Read more

"I've never had bad food at Aladdin and the service is great. It's easy to eat healthy which is crucial for me. I'm typically getting the baba ghhannouj, cucumber salad, eggplant salad and a protein (usually fish or chicken although I've had everything). Ali is a really cool guy (owner) and always gives me extra when he personally serves me. He even gave my..." Read more

"I love to try new Mediterranean places whenever I can. This is one of the best in Houston, and definitely a great price for the amount of food that you get. I had the falafel plate, and hands down these are some of the best falafels in Houston. They aren't made until you order them so they are fresh and moist when they come to the table. Along with the..." Read more

"I've been to several Mediterranean restaurants, and Aladdin's is probably the most inviting place my girlfriend and I have been to yet. The food is excellent and the Moroccan tea is probably the best tea I've ever had in an eatery ever. The portions are generous and the staff was an absolute joy."

"The owner is always there and very helpful and nice. The lamb shank is the best in Houston along with the pita bread and humus. Lots of choices for food and all of it fresh. Easy for paleo-diet. vegetarian. or all around healthy eating. You will not be disappointed. And have a glass of their fresh fruit juice."

"Aladdin is one of my favorite eateries in town. I have been eating there since they opened. I always have a great experience because I know what dishes are the best, and there is always enough selection that I never get bored. What not miss? Chicken kabob is my favorite. Lamb shank is good, pasta salad, spicy hummus is my new fav, potatoes, Greek salad, cal..." Read more

"Aladdin is my favorite place to get mediterranean food ! It tastes so fresh, and is made from scratch - it has more flavor than some of the restaurants around here that try to use quick fixes and shortcuts. The staff is always so nice, and you really feel welcome there ! They are always willing to answer questions about food - some people don't eat medite..." Read more

"Having lived in New York, I am always searching for great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in Houston and as of today, Aladdin's is at the top of my list. It's cafeteria style but don't let that fool you, the food and service are both excellent. And if you like spicy hummus, it's excellent here. For what it's worth, it's also BYOB."
