"Just called in without reservation yesterday, 12 Feb '17. A table for 4 was found right away, although the restaurant was quite busy. The meal was superb, the steaks were melt in the mouth, good big portions, a child's menu was available, and the service was quick and pleasant.
For Guinness drinkers, the Guinness was as good as it should be."

"Stopped here for lunch today by complete chance and was very pleasantly surprised. The seafood chowder was absolutely fantastic. We were seated beside the fire and the staff did all they could to make it a lovely lunch break for us. Highly recommended."

"I had a piece of steak covered with monkfish that was wrapped in parma ham. Additionally, there was a side of really good, thin, fried and seasoned onion rings. It was probably the best meal I had in over a year. Anywhere."

"We went there als a family and had Sirloin Steak and Chicken from the Daily Specials menu. Both was very good, though the steak was more Medium+ than Medium als ordered.
My son ordered the daily soup (potatoe and leek) and liked it, too.
We'll come back!"

"WELL. all I can say is harrys seafood chowder is the absolute best we have ever tasted. along with the wheaten bread. gorg. was a meal on its own. the staff were very attentive. bailey cheesecake was devine. jumper s.c. was great too. steak was done to order and chicken stack was del. thankyou to all the staff."
