"Lovely setting and decor. We only had main courses, I had the sizzling chicken, was nice but most of my veg was celery which was a little strange. My husband had surf and turf, steak was fab but monkfish and sauce was a little disappointing. Fabulous chunky chips. Gin of the day, jawbox and 1724 tonic at £5.50 was a steal. "

"Our B and B recommended and booked this restaurant for us.
We both had the smoked haddock from their specials board. It was utterly delicious perfectly cooked.
Nice decor and competent staff although they did slip up only charging for one main course but I couldn't not tell them as the meal was so good.
Highly recommended."

"Stopped by this lovely bar/restaurant for a snack and when I saw the food could not resist lunch. Absolutely beautiful. Great service and presentation. No rush to clear your table and happy for you to sit as long as you wish. Great atmosphere, young friendly staff who aim to please. Very reasonably priced."
