"I hated this wedge the first week; it was hard, it hurt my shoulder if I tried sleeping on my side, and I kept sliding down. It took over a month to figure out how to get comfortable, and now I love it. I ended up putting it on top of my mattress, and put an eggcrate foam pad over the entire bed, then the sheet. Then I got a king size pillow for on top of th..." Read more

"Bought a new one after 5-6 years of using their original all memory foam wedge. New one only has inch of memory foam on top of regular foam. Same price. Much wider. It’s ok. Received damaged but they quickly replaced. Good customer service."

"Quick 3 day delivery. 1st night or 2 it felt too firm; after a week it feels comfortable. I'm using small pillow on top, had trouble with it sliding down. Now I'm staying in place better. Can sleep on back or side comfortably. Satisfied!"

"I was recently diagnosed with GERD and sleeping in my bed became uncomfortable due to stomach pains. Within days of using MedSlant pillow, my stomach aches reduced significantly and my sleep improved. I highly recommend this product."

"I've had GERD for some time, and would wake up in the middle of the night with severe nausea, sometimes to the point of actually getting sick. While it took me a solid few weeks to get used to using this, I'm now sleeping much better than I did before! I haven't woken up at all with nausea! The only problem I've had with it is I slide down it as the night..." Read more

"Felt a little lower than I thought it would be but over all comfortable. Packaging was surprising. The pillow is vacuum-packed in a small box. When I first opened the box I thought the pillow was going to be too small. After I removed the wedge from the plastic bag it expanded quite a bit."

"It took a few nights to get used to it, but after adapting, I have to say I really like it. I have suffered from a chronic cough due to acid reflux and since sleeping on this pillow, my cough has lessened. I'm hoping with long-term use, it will disappear...but time will tell. I definitely recommend this pillow, but one word of advice is: you may have to tr..." Read more

"The seven inch rise makes a great difference, though not perfect. Even good when just sitting and watching TV in bed."

"Very, very comfortable. Being tipped up more is helping with the sudden snorting that has been waking me up. But why so expensive! You can buy a good memory foam twin mattress on Amazon for about $200. And this is almost $100? Wow."

"I had only used the pillow twice before we left on vacation. Just got home, will begin to use again. The first two nights I did find that I had a more peaceful sleep without coughing and acid reflux burning. So far, so good."

"It does work, but I kept slipping down or rolling off it during the night. Finally got a bed that will raise up like a hospital bed."

"I wanted something light and portable and this fit the bill. Elevating my head slightly Alleviates heartburn and nasal congestion. It took a little getting used to but now I sleep Much more soundly."

"It worked well for my reflux! But I found that it put a lot of pressure on my low back and hips causing soreness the next morning. I also ended up sliding down on the wedge by the next morning. Still a great way to elevate your upper body for reflux sufferers."

"Although this is a good GERD Pillow, it would be better if it was made to fit underneath the top mattress and extended across the entire bed in twin, full, queen and king sizes."

"After several years of suggestions by my doctor I finally broke down and bought this. I use Omeprazole twice a day for GERD and occassionally still have episodes at night. Since using the pillow I haven't had an episode of GERD at night. It is somewhat of an adjustment to sleep on the pillow and I still need one small neck pillow. Overall I think I am sleepi..." "The Medslant wedge pillow is great for keeping your head higher than the rest of your body when you sleep. The problem is that your mattress tends to slide down, so you need to readjust your mattress regularly to maintain the optimum height and slant. I bought 2 pillows and put them side-by-side to prop up a full-size mattress. So while they're not the perf..." Read more

"My wife suffers from acid reflux and has a hard time falling asleep. This pillow let's her stomach settle down within a half-hour and allows her to fall asleep. She doesn't need it every night, but when she does, it works every time. The folding feature is useful for storing by the bedside."

"My Life with Medslant: This thing is super awesome. My morning post-nasal sludge situation continues to be about 90% better. I've gotten over the problem of how to sleep on it comfortably - get a contour pillow, one of those memory foam ones with the groove in the middle for your head Serta 2.5-Pound Memory Foam Contour Pillow .
