"Moqueca has great food and good drinks with a friendly staff to boot, but DO NOT come here if you are in a large party and plan on paying separately. For some reason they are unable to split bills, so my party and I spent an additional 45 minutes trying to figure out the best way to pay and who had what. Completely brought down the entire experience, which w..." Read more

"3.5 stars! I've only had Brazilian food a few times, so I'm not sure what the standards are. Objectively, this place wasn't terrible, but it wasn't stellar either. I ordered the Fish Muqueca, which came with flavored rice and fish stew/sauce (?). The Fish Muequeca itself came with onions, tomato, cilantro, and pieces of fish. The accompaniment fish stew/..." "I have come many times, whether with colleagues or alone, to enjoy their authentic Brazilian fare. Definitely a favorite for Brazilians-I always hear Portuguese in the clientele. The service is friendly and the restaurant small and comfy. Not fine dining, but the food does not disappoint. I head there often on my trips to Cambridge, it's like a brief sto..." Read more

"We ordered two meals and decided to share .. The banana lasagna and vegetable stroganoff .. We enjoyed the banana lasagna very much but the stroganoff was not up to par ... The menu had no mention of tofu (if it had I would not have ordered the dish) and the only vegetables were mushrooms. I am glad I tried this place but would not recommend."

"If this is the first time you trying Brazilian cousin I promise you'll like it. Something different and very tasty, but nobody cares about you in here. We have been waiting to get seated, another 20 minutes took somebody come to take our order, the people are rude and unfriendly. We were not satisfied with service, and at the end waitress asked us to leave h..." Read more

"I've missed Brazilian food. When I was in Brazil a month ago I had moqueca in different regions of Brazil literally all the time and they were so good.. Here at Muqueca it wasn't bad, but it's all diluted. We had the calamari and fish moqueca, which came in a small pot with tomato broth? I expected something much thicker and richer and this dish was..." Read more

"Tasty, decently priced Brazilian seafood stews with freshly squeezed juices = a nice tropical respite in an otherwise grey and cold season. The fried yucca is the way to go for an app- it's fried perfectly, and that mustardy dipping sauce is a great compliment. The boy had the feijoida completa, which was a lot of good and heavy food made tastier with the h..." Read more

"Service staff were attentive and friendly. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. My party of two ordered the fish muqueca, calamari, and some sort of seafood rice dish I can't recall the name of. Overall I felt the taste to be pretty bland. They relied on the sauces to add any flavor and stopped by our table twice to ask if we had hot sauce..." Read more

"Muqueca was full of hits and misses for me. The flavors were excellent. I had the mariscada which they label as a must try. It lives up to the hype, spiced well, and thickened/sweetened a bit with coconut milk. It was loaded with good seafood, including shrimp and crab meat. The shrimp were huge and juicy, cooked perfectly. The dish also featured musse..." Read more
