"The menu and concept was a little all over the place for me. The food was mid at best. We tried the steak with chimichuri and ordered it medium but it came out mid rare. We only tried one piece of it and didn't ask for a box. If the service wasn't so slow and might have sent it back but at some point our time was worth more. The fries were amazing. The lamb..." "Holy mediocre. Literally everything from the moment we walked in the door was simply mediocre. The host, the service, the appetizers, the entrees. Even my Sprite was whatever. Listen, mediocre food is part of the deal when you go out to eat, I get that. But the bill came to $100 with no alcohol. Two entrees and an appetizer, 2 sodas. Mediocre food for two sh..." Read more

"The food and atmosphere was great! The service was a little interesting... the women bartending was beyond wasted- she was yelling so loud (screaming & cussing) & dancing with 2 men (almost felt like it was a sports bar, but it's actually a nice sit down restaurant). Our waiter was friendly at first, but slowly also started to get wasted and become inattenti..." Read more

"Happy Hour cost me $95.00 HAA!!!!! Not so happy, but ordering from the Happy Hour menu and from the regular menu, it does add up. What does add up is $19.00 for cocktails. For Manhattan Beach, not a big fan, especially when it's in the coup glass."

"My coworkers and I visited this place for a work lunch. First off, the decor and space is nice for a sit down lunch. Parking was horrible and confusing as this place is located in a business center. I ordered the lamb skewers, which were overcooked and under seasoned. The hummus was pretty good, but not the best. My co workers gave the place a 3 out of 5,..." Read more

"Lovely atmosphere inside an office park, it looks like a beautiful oasis. I'd say everything good was balanced by something off and vice versa. The mussels appetizer was delicious in a creamy coconut broth. The $18 glasses of unnamed house wine that was just okay put me off. The chicken skewer plate and the vegan beyond meat patty plate featured fresh ingre..." Read more

"This place was good, not great. The meal was ok, again, good not great. The drink was the same. I had hoped for better, given the beautiful pictures... but it just fell flat.
I recognize I'm in the minority here. I'll go back again & update this review if the meal is more than lackluster."

"The food here was quite tasty. Although, after being assured that the french fries were cooked in a clean fryer and were safe for a celiac person to eat, at the end of the meal, we were told that that information was a mistake. The result, the celiac member of our party was sick that night, and for the next few days. To the owners credit, he did not charge..." Read more

"My feelings towards Nomad Eatery are very neutral. The food was fine, drinks were pretty good. Nothing that I would seek out. The ambiance was great, but I would recommend going to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant if you're looking for flavor rather than a pretty setting and overly-attentive service."

"Glad to try this place, but it was honestly just okay. Went for happy hour, which had a good selection of items, but the portions were extremely small. Between two people, we had four happy hour items and one entree and it barely felt like enough food. Will definitely pay a pretty penny!Although pricey, the food was tasty for what it was, so I would..." Read more

"Food is very good. We ordered the hummus with fresh pita. For our entrees, we ordered lamb skewers, chicken skewers, steak & fries and grilled shrimp on a bed of jasmine rice. I was not a fan of the raw bean sprouts on top if the grilled shrimp dish. For dessert we ordered the chocolate souffle. Every dish we had was tasty and filling. Portions were j..." Read more

"I really enjoyed the environment and service. Food however is not great or may be we didn't choose right options. Drinks: Watermelon spiritz was decent. Pineapple and ginger spiritz was good with ginger being on strong side. Food: Hummus was good but slightly on saltier side. Butternut squash was different and tasty. The biggest disappointments were mai..." Read more
