"I love Aladdin's. Hole-in-the-wall joint with a good mix of folks who know good Mediterranean food. Buffet style and meats are cooked upon order. Every hummus I've had there is outstanding, the salads all have been great and the chicken kabob (that I can't stop ordering) is some of the best I've ever had. The parking situation during peak times is tough,..." Read more

"Awesome place! It was our first time here and ordering was a bit confusing. So the server explained it to us and the food is bomb!"

"This place is legit! Kinda pricey but my plate was full of food for what I paid. The pita rolls are made fresh in an oven in front-awesome. Several types of hummus-all were good. The fried baked potato was good and the lamb guyro was spot on as well. I always love a place where I can pick from many options and this was it."

"I was raised Greek, and this food is pretty authentic. Tastes like my moms home cooking. I did *not* have any meat, as I'm a vegetarian, so I can only remark on the veggie dishes. I had a veggie plate with cucumber salad, tabbouleh, roasted potatoes and the original hummus with pita. Their fresh baked pitas are really nice. I thought the hummus was excellent..." Read more

"The food is really good. I loved the huge array of sides they offer. My friend and I both ordered chicken shawarma. We are used to Chicago style shawarma that resembles gyro but better. Houston apparently calls kebab shawarma. When the employee brought me my food I literally asked him "are you sure that's mine?" It was still good, but not what I was expect..." Read more

"Great Mediterranean restaurant at Westheimer and Montrose. BIG PORTIONS. Vegetarians and vegans - this place has great options for us, too! Get the veggie sampler (vegans specify)! Everything here is pretty delicious! In my opinion, the food is WAY better here than the more popular Greek restaurant just up the street (Niko Niko's)! Best time to eat..." Read more

"The food here is overall good. There's an array of meats and sides to choose from. I got the special with 1 meat and 3 sides for $12.99. I chose the lamb stew as my meat, which was ok. As for my sides I got the cucumber salad and Greek salad. The cucumber salad was great because it was fresh and crisp. The Greek salad would have been more enjoyable if they..." Read more

"Great food, super cheap, and you get your money's worth. Seriously, SO MUCH FOOD. I think I made 3-4 meals out of my one meal there. My only complaint is that it can be hard to navigate. As a first timer, I didn't exactly know what to do and there's not much available to help or guide you. The workers kind of stand back and don't help you either. You either..." Read more

"Really good, well-prepared food with a pretty wide selection. Everything I had was quite (lamb shank was wonderful). Not cheap, but by no means expensive. Decor is dated and the dining room is a little worn, or five stars would've theirs."

"Looooove most of the selections at this restaurant! I used always get the 4 veggie plate now because they have so many side options that I love. The pita bread is the best in town! If you go 40 minutes to closing time, chances are they will be out of a lot of their options but the food that they do have left, they will give you generous proportions!"

"Pretty good Greek food with very generous portions and isn't overpriced like the other Greek joints in Houston."

"The food is very tasty. My date and I decided to dine in around dinner time so it took us a while to find parking. I had the seafood dish since I don't eat meat and it was average. I went with lime baked potatoes and baked cauliflower for my sides and I must say the cauliflowers were DELISH! Hummus was okay but overall it was a great experience. I will come..." Read more

"Close to home, convenient, casual and always good food with healthy portions. I especially love the caramelized onion hummus....mmm... Great selection and friendly staff. In addition, its BYOB! The only downside is that parking can be difficult, although that is the case with many business inside the loop. Definitely recommend!"

"The atmosphere is lacking, but they most certainly make up for it in heaps of delicious foods! There hasn't been anything I've ordered that I disliked. If you get there when the pita is coming right out of the oven, you will be in pita heaven. They are delectable!"

"Don't judge the restaurant from how it looks, because the food was hella bomb. Before you continue, I'm so sorry but I don't know the exact names of each dish but hopefully you can figure it out when you go there! We tried the spinach, spicy, and regular hummus and out of those three my favorite was the spinach. As for sides, we tried the pasta, chickp..." Read more

"I drive by this place all the time, and am happy that I finally stopped in. Aladdin's is cozy and small, and the food is, so far, the best Greek I've had. I ordered the spinach hummus (yummy), some kind of cilantro salad (refreshing), green beans made in a tomato based sauce, and ground beef Kabobs (holy cow so awesome!!!). Parking is a small lot so bring a..." Read more

"After a failed attempt at eating at Baba Yega (closed Mondays - what?!) I ventured down the street since, hey, I already had a parking spot. I agree with the hundreds and hundreds of positive reviews. This place is definitely no frills but I'd go back for the food. We ordered 1 chicken kabob plate and 1 lamb gyro meat plate. Sides included (3 for each of us..." Read more

"I go to Aladdin's a lot for lunch for a high protein and fiber meal. It's really flavorful and super healthy. When you go through the cafeteria style line, they offer you a basket of hot pita bread and some hummus. They have an array of vegetables and sides, and several meats. They usually only have one seafood option, and it's usually the same, so I'd hope..." Read more

"Great food , I decided on the Swarma and had the Greek salad to go along with it. The price was fair considering the location(Midtown). When I called my food in I didn't know they had over 30 different sides to go with your main course. The inside scenery was clean and the restaurant smelled good. The food was setup like a cafeteria surrounding."

"You want an arm work out? Just try opening the solid steel doors here. You'll need to have a big appetite when you come here to eat. Prices are higher than Fadi's but similar style restaurant. Line up with trays and move through the line. Salads first, sides, and meat. Be ready with what you want to order. Their pita bread is really good. Can be..." Read more

"If you're looking for delicious Mediterranean food and lots of it for a very fair price, this is your place. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the atmosphere. It's dark and old looking, but I'm happy to look past that to enjoy their delicious food!"

"Still one of my favorites! I like their gyro meat more than other establishments because it's crispier. The service is really hit or miss, but generally everyone is very nice. Another plus is that they do not charge extra for tzatziki."

"The food was tasty and had good flavor. The portions are very plentiful so come hungry. This place is smaller inside than Fadi's and the parking is pretty bad. It gets pretty packed here so someone from your party should sit and save a spot. I noticed the couple next to us brought thier own bottle of wine and plastic wine glasses. So I think it's byob.. the..." Read more
