"I've been to places like Fadi's and Phonecia. This place tops them by far, start out with 2 cute little naan breads, the quality just felt better. For around $12-13 i felt i got my moneys worth. I went with corn on the cob (very well prepared and seasoned), I had some roasted eggplant that came over rice w/o extra charge, and I also got the grilled veggies...." Read more

"Mediterranean in the heart of Montrose, I loved this place. Went in for dinner and chose the veggie/ lamb food options from the counter with the combo entree option. Entree, 2 sides and bread. The place isnt fancy looking bit for the price and the taste, its a great option"

"Love this place! The food is fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. The flavors are great, and I have never been disappointed with any of the salads or meat that I have eaten there. Don't forget to try their fresh Aguas Fresca style juice. The only reason I am docking a star is because the parking situation is a nightmare. They had a handful of parking spots..." Read more

"Cafeteria style ordering, get in line and pick your grub. Food wasn't bad good quality for the price. Ordered the chicken with saffron rice - good, tabouleh - adequate , grape leaves with rice - interesting flavor, regular hummus - good, pita bread - a little too fluffy but good flavor. Would definitely eat here again if in the neighborhood."

"I loved my experience at Aladdin. Echoing a lot of the other reviews here, the food is truly the star. I'm from the Middle East, and was very impressed with not only the favors of the food, but also the offerings - there were menu items here that my grandmother used to make! I got the Lamb Meatballs with tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, hummus and the vermic..." Read more

"I freaking love places like this - the buffet/cafeteria style Mediterranean place that offers a TON of food at a reasonable price. Aladdin is pretty similar to its competitors, except for... It's pita bread. Wow, was I impressed by the pita bread! Soft and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness, this was the first time I visited a restaurant like this where I..." Read more

"This is cafeteria style Mediterranean food, and it is really good! I wish they had labels on everything. I feel bad holding up the line to ask what everything is so I can make an informed decision. Also the line has lots of side dishes but you can only get 3 (For the usual combo of one meat - 3 sides, anyway). So take your time and look to see what they have..." Read more

"I was very impressed! In general, I really like this cuisine, but tend to think it needs sauce to be truly enjoyable. Not Aladdin! Everything was so flavorful and the meat wasn't dry at all! You order cafeteria style and get to choose your mix of items. Portions are HUGE and there are tons of vegetarian options. I was still full the next morning and my fridg..." Read more

"It was my first Mediterranean restaurant I visited after coming to states. After then I have visited 3 times. Right from the soft and fresh pita bread to different selection of meat this place is worth to visit. The onion hummus is my favorite. I prefer to have a brunch on weekends so that i can eat that big plate at one go. Apart from food the people are ve..." Read more

"Be prepared to get full fast. The food is amazing here. You start of in the line grab a tray and can get a their daily special. The spicy hummus is a must try . Big potions. Small space inside but they have outdoor seating. Nice, friendly staff."

"I keep thinking about what keeps me coming back here. It has to be the home-cooked feel of the food. Now, of course this isn't the food that I or probably even you had growing up but there is just an undeniable feel of comfort and heartiness that smacks of down home cooking. The staff are always exceedingly cheerful, the food more than generous to the point..." Read more

"My mother, best friend, and I decided to eat at Aladdin today just to try somewhere new! This place is great. The parking and seating both are hectic and fill up quickly, but the food is worth your (possible) wait. We arrived around 1:30, and the lunch crowd definitely packs in as time goes on, so I would get in early, if you can, especially with parking. Fi..." Read more

"A pretty darn good place to get a Paleo meal on the run. Aladdin sits on the corner of Montrose and Westheimer. It has been there for as long as I can remember, but I only recently ventured in on the urging of a CrossFit coach who touted its many Paleo-friendly options. It's setup like a giant Mediterranean/Middle Eastern buffet. Your best bet is the one..." Read more

"Went for a late lunch on a Saturday. Very cozy restaurant on the Westheimer corner. Come hungry because they load you plate with food! I had the spicy hummus (not spicy to me), mushroom salad and chicken kabobs with a warm pita bread on the side. Everything was delicious and hot with a good value for what you got. Additional parking behind the burger joint."

"OMG~ where is the side of falafel salad ? Rainy day!!! I still wanted to go try it for the first time after read so much about it. So disappointed that I don't see my falafel salad after got home. The food surely taste healthy and good. The pita bread and rice are soft enough for my baby ( he liked it). I was going to try the meat pie but they said they don'..." Read more

"I stop by Aladdin's every time I have court so it's about time I leave a review. The quality and variety of food here is excellent. I usually go with the shredded beef and lamb stew + 3 sides for about 12-13 bucks. It is easily enough food to fill you up, and odds are you will have some left over to take home. They also have many other meat options such as,..." Read more

"Great place to come for your Mediterranean fix, although you better bring your debit card. A basic meal with a drink will set you back nearly $20 but it will be a lot of food you can probaby split between 2 people. Sometimes they have squirrelly hours, but for the most part they keep to their posted hours. I enjoyed the lamb kabob with 3 veggies: 1/2 carm..." Read more

"Way, way, waaaaay good! The no1 thing worth mentioning are the free pita breads. Those pita breads are small, but absolutely filling; warm, fluffy and I want a big, warm, fluffy pita bread to use as my pillow. The line is cafeteria style; the options are 1 meat w/ 3 sides, or 4 veggies/sides. Some meats are for extra, like the lamb shank and the red snapper...." Read more

"I like Mediterranean restaurants because of the plentiful vegetable options. I like Aladdin because of the variety and the freshness of the salads, hummus, and veggies. It is cafeteria style, but the set-up is not intimidating. Next to the utensils, you see a chalkboard explaining the plating options. From there, you go down the line and pick what you wa..."
