"We were very excited to go here, considering the Michelin recommendation. I was actually surprised to see a lot of bad reviews on Google and Yelp before I booked, and now I know why. It's an expensive restaurant, which would be fine if the food was really good. It's not. Both the duck tamal and the catch of the day were overcooked and dry. The Al Pastor taco..." Read more

"Food is just okay, the only plate that I would say it was really good is the pork cheek carnitas. The portions are very small and very expensive and the beer is not cold. Ambiance is cozy and energetic and service is great too. But for what they serve and from what we were expecting, I wouldn't go back."

"We were so excited to eat hear after hearing rave reviews from a diner as we walked the Grove. Finally have had the opportunity to eat, we were terribly disappointed in the overall experience. Our order took longer than expected and disappointed when it arrived.  I think whoever is giving out Michelin Stars should be evaluated.  The food is nothing special,..." Read more

"It's beyond our comprehension how this restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. The weaknesses and inconsistencies far outway any strengths:Strengths:*They have an in-house molino which is used to grind maiz daily to make tortillas from scratch*The totopos and guac was the best dish we had, with freshly made, hot totopos appropriately salted a..." "Went for their brunch with high expectations but unfortunately they did not deliver 2 of the dishes were almos inedible. Their chilaquiles were súper acid they were like soak in lemon, and the crudo the same thing, the other 2 dishes were just okay. It is a shame I expected way more. The only salvageable is their service and the presentation of the dishes"

"Creative but unsatisfying food.  The food was fine but not worth returning for another meal.
Portions are very small so don't come hungry or expect to spend a lot on dinner."

"Just, no. Everything felt short. I do not understand the Michelin star. Everything needed salt or acid, nothing was balanced. Nothing special, blandIf I had to pick one thing I'd order again, it would be the pork cheek carnitas, those were good. The tortillas were also authentic. I second everyone's sentiments on the Arepa, hard as a hockey puck. It all look..." Read more

"I really wanted to like this place, but I can't say I'd ever return. The dish that probably sums up why I won't return is the "Corn Grits." The dish is described as "Grilled gambas, black truffleemulsion, finger limes, scallions." Gambas is shrimp but don't let the "s" on the end make you think that's plural. You only get one shri..." "Wish I can give it more and I'm sure it would be worthy of a higher score if I were to return.2/5 Pros: Quality food, kind staff.Cons: Very small portions, slow service, had run out of some items, tiny space.Again, my review is subject to change to a higher one if I come back in the future but for now it will remain as such. They..." Read more

"Extremely overpriced. Margaritas are not made with tequila. They are made with Sake. The aperol was not very good either. The guacamole is served in a small bowl for $14. The only thing I thought was good were the tortillas in the tacos."

"It has a great location and a nice ambience. Unfortunately, the food was overpriced and the portions were very small. The food was nothing to rave about. The service was unprofessional. They brought the food for half of the table about forty-five minutes before they served the other half that was dining with us. The other half had ordered huevos rancheros an..." Read more

"Great service and ambience but way over priced for the portion size. Menu says tapas to share but not a single plate was enough to share for even 2 people. I went with a date and spent $14-18 per tapa, we had 4 plates and left hungry.Leaving everything the same i would go back and love this place if prices were decreased by 30% also no liquor license..." "While the food is worth a stop the service is not worth the wait.  When I am at a restaurant I expect service to be courteous and professional, this place has neither."
