"The food was tasty and had good flavor. The portions are very plentiful so come hungry. This place is smaller inside than Fadi's and the parking is pretty bad. It gets pretty packed here so someone from your party should sit and save a spot. I noticed the couple next to us brought thier own bottle of wine and plastic wine glasses. So I think it's byob.. the..." Read more

"Where do I start!? This place is great! They have the best baked chicken ever! It's always so juicy and perfectly seasoned. And the lamb shanks are so delicious and tender the meat just comes right off of the bone. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. One of the best spots to eat in Houston."

"This place was a mandatory stop every time I visited Houston, however the past 2 times I stopped here for dinner have been a disappointment, in my opinion the quality of service and food is going down. Today at 9 PM there were only 4 options for salads, and the corn which was microwaved and served cold. They did not want to prepare kabobs or shawarma... This..." Read more

"It was our first time here and it exceeded our expectations. Good quality food, great customer service, exceptional value for money. When compared to Fadi's, the old standard, this restaurant exceeds in every conceivable way. However, as with Fadi's, the only real drawback is noise. Would recommend and we will be back."

"I love this place! The food is always great and made fresh. The staff is very friendly. So far, I haven't encountered any rude staff members. I'm a big fan of the gobi and I'm a fiend for the lamb shank. Can't get enough of it!"

"I'm definitely a fan of Mediterranean food. Aladdin's or Fadi's are my go-to's in Houston. First of all, the pita bread here is AMAZING and UNLIMITED. I love getting baba ganoush here too. As for the rest of the sides, they all seems "okay". The cauliflower is good but oily sometimes. My biggest complaint about this place is they all their orders are so..." Read more

"Awesome hummus, huge portion sizes. I received the appropriate amount of veggies to fill me up. Server was aware of which dishes were gluten-free/vegan."

"I wasn't impressed but maybe because I'm comparing it to Fadi's which is always great. I ordered the grilled Chicken, hummus, grilled eggplant and tabouli. All my sides were good but the Chicken was totally dry, almost not edible for my taste. The place is a small and kinda dark. I won't be going back with so many other great Middle Eastern food options..." Read more

"This restaurant has really great Mediterranean cuisine. However, they run out of food at odd times. And yes, I mean run out of almost all of the food (meat, sides, etc). While I love the restaurant, I may need to stop going there because it is difficult for me to predict when I will go there and everything will be gone. Today I went one hour before closing a..." "If you're coming to Aladdin's bring your appetite. You will never leave this place hungry. I like the change of pace with the cafeteria style line. You can see the selection of hummus baba ghanoush, salads, vegetables, sides and meats. Some meats, like the kebabs, they cook to order. Their bread is always warm and fresh. They pretty much entice you to have..." Read more

"Decided to go here instead of Niko Niko which is in the same street and I must say it was really good. The place doesn't have the same atmosphere or space as Niko Niko's but the food is great. Their hummus, bread and lamb were my favorite."

"This is my go to place if I dont feel like cooking and want something healthy-ish their pita bread is always warm, fresh, and chewy. I always get the eggplant with pesto and feta. Its so addicting. I want to know how they get the eggplant so tender because I just cant seem to make them silky. Lamb shank is awesome, as well as the kebobs. Can't really go wro..." Read more

"Absolutely delicious Mediterranean food. I always have a great meal every time I come to Aladdin's. The set up is much like Fadi's- cafeteria style. There is a "menu" with specials for the day. I usually pick the one meat and three sides combo. As you go down the line, you pick up some bread, pick your sides- salads, rice, potatoes, etc. and then you choose..." Read more

"Wow I have to say this place was AMAZING!! I ordered the 1 meat 3 sides special and got beef kebabs, caramelized onion hummus, this yellow color rice, and mushrooms. I didn't like the mushrooms but oh my gosh everything else was amazing. The hummus was amazing and I really don't like hummus. The bread they offered was also just perfectly fresh and warm! The..." "Aladdin's fed me through law school and The Bar, as I ate there more nights than I did not. My true family restaurant for the several years I lived in Montrose, I would eat Aladins at least 5 times a week, always loving the tasty Hummos, Baba Ganouj, eggplant, many salads, vegetable dishes, and the delicious meats. The food was always incredible, and someh..." Read more

"Excuse my language, but this place is the TITS! I'm writing this as I sit here with an extended stomach filled with delicious Mediterranean food that was purchased for an extremely reasonable $12.00. I am relatively new to Houston and have been searching for a good Mediterranean spot for a while. I didn't think that I would find it in a cafeteria style, low..." Read more

"I've been a regular since they opened in 2004 or 2005. Can't remember which. The quality went up as soon as the now owner, Ali, took over the restaurant from Fadi's. Trust me, the white baked chicken, cashew rice, roasted lemon potatoes will change your life if the best pita in the city doesn't. I literally ate here every day for months when I was pregnant w..." "Buffet line, cafeteria style ordering. Great when you are suffering from the aftermath of a good night of drinking and just want to soak up the alcohol without much awkward interaction. "Loved this place, and so must a lot of other people because the place was very busy, but it is quite small. My husband and I shared a meal with an extra side of rice and couldn't eat it all. Only $17 for both of us. We are from out of town, and wish we had something like this in our town."

"Still one of my favorites! I like their gyro meat more than other establishments because it's crispier. The service is really hit or miss, but generally everyone is very nice. Another plus is that they do not charge extra for tzatziki."
