"I've been a regular since they opened in 2004 or 2005. Can't remember which. The quality went up as soon as the now owner, Ali, took over the restaurant from Fadi's. Trust me, the white baked chicken, cashew rice, roasted lemon potatoes will change your life if the best pita in the city doesn't. I literally ate here every day for months when I was pregnant w..." "Buffet line, cafeteria style ordering. Great when you are suffering from the aftermath of a good night of drinking and just want to soak up the alcohol without much awkward interaction. Huge portions, lots of healthy vegetarian and carnivore options. Nothing fancy, straight forward Mediterranean food stuffs. Hits the spot and fills the weak stomach of this h..." Read more

"Loved this place, and so must a lot of other people because the place was very busy, but it is quite small. My husband and I shared a meal with an extra side of rice and couldn't eat it all. Only $17 for both of us. We are from out of town, and wish we had something like this in our town."

"If you're looking for mediterranean food, this is the place to try. Everything's great, big portions, but best of all very friendly staff. I actually like this place better than any of the other mediterranean places like Dimassi's or Fadi's. They have a lot of options to choose from and the line goes fairly quick. They do get packed!"

"Came here because of a friend's recommendation. Glad I listened to them. Counter service. Line moved pretty quickly. Got the classics to test them out - tabbouli, hummus, falafel salad, chicken kabob, and fresh watermelon juice. All of that was accompanied by plenty of fresh bread. Test - passed. I loved everything about this place. Coming back for sur..." Read more

"No fuss, just tons of healthy food. Tip: the curry here is almost or as good as the best Indian places in town. Order chicken curry as your meat and load up on awesome vegetable sides and win with the incredible bread they serve here. Full up the to go box and enjoy later. Oh, and it's BYOB. They will provide you with wine glasses. Score."

"I usually shy away from mass produced food, but so happy I didn't when it came to aladdins. Perfect place for vegetarians, but also great meat options (at least looked good, as I did all veggies). Hummus with spinach was outstanding. Favorite dishes were the fried mashed potato balls (have some filling inside- maybe cheese?) , hummus, and eggplant over rice...." Read more

"Came here for lunch on a Wednesday and there was quite the crowd. I took a look at their menu online before I went and saw that they had lots of options. However, maybe it was because it was lunchtime it was very cafeteria style and they didnt really present anything else but the 1 meat, 2 sides meal as an option. I have to give a mention to their bread he..." Read more

"Aladdins! You have become my comfort food, my staple, my beacon of hope in my thus far short stay in Houston. Being vegetarian isn't a walk in the park around here, and you're always there to catch me in the time of need. Exam munchies? You're it. Visitor from far off coasts? Again, you're it. Large birthday party? I turn to you. The people that work here al..." Read more

"Insane portion sizes plus incredibly authentic and delicious food. That's all you need to know about this place, and I seriously don't know how anyone could turn that down. Keep in mind that this place can get pretty busy. I came here on a crowded Saturday night and had to have someone stake out of table while the rest of us went to the counter to order. T..." Read more

"I have been driving by here for years and finally decided to try it out on a Saturday for lunch. You order at a counter where you can see all of the food selection. I had a lamb stew which was very tasty. The only regret I had is it tasted like they used imitation lamb meat. I also had a great greek salad and one of their hummuses. They have 4 different..." "Very yummy Mediterranean food. I had the lamb kebab with spicy hummus, roasted cauliflower, and grape leaves. Everything tasted fresh, the staff helped me very quickly and were friendly, and it was an overall pleasant experience. The tzatziki that came with the lamb was so very good. I kinda wished more lamb came with it for the price, but I guess that is th..." Read more

"Aladdin's--I recently cheated on you with another Mediterranean restaurant. It reminded me how good I've always had it with you and the flood of shame and guilt hit me hard when I had to begrudgingly wash down some dry lamb cuts elsewhere with lots of water. Thank you for always taking me back with open arms, reminding me of my subservient devotion to you...." Read more

"Lots of fresh vegetable dishes, salads and meats. We get the beef kabob with three sides and the four sides vegetable plate. They both come with freshly baked pita bread, which is really delicious, possibly the best pita I've had. All the food makes you feel healthy without sacrificing taste. Their cauliflower is really tasty - not really sure how they prepa..." Read more

"2 Words - PORTION SIZE. Staff is friendly; pricing seems consistent for a one meat, three side plate (~$13). Dishes were good but seemed a bit bland in flavor. The hummos, shredded lamb, and yellow rice were all pretty average. Huge portion size and freshly-baked pita made the meal pretty good though. They also have a good stockpile of sauces on the side..." Read more

"I love this place! The lamb kebab plate is absolutely delicious and enough food to feed two people, especially if you get 3 sides. I usually get hummus and the cucumber dish to add to the lambe kebab meat. And it's all you can eat naan! Doesn't get better than this."

"I have been coming here since it probably opened. Last night was the true testament of how much I love this place and so glad it is in my neighborhood. Growing up on Middle Eastern food easily makes a shawarma and hummus my source of comfort food. This place never fails.
