"We only got one use out of the pad. On our second camping trip it no longer held air. I contacted the seller and to their credit, they sent out a replacement pad within a week. Hopefully the first one was a fluke. We do have an older pad from Kamui that has been very reliable."

"Very comfortable! But it's large. It's bulky. Definitely not a backpacking pad. When it's rolled up in the sack it's about the same size as a folding camp chair and almost as heavy."

"Works as advertised. Pad is thick, adjustable firmness and easy to roll up. I gave it 4 stars as I have never used a self inflating pad before this one and I have yet to go camping this season to fully try it out. I slept on it in the house to test it and it was comfortable."

"Inflated on its own. Had a great nights sleep while camping. Kids both liked theirs. Item does take up a lots of space and you have to work at it to deflate it."

"Inflated easily, comfortable even on frozen ground. except....it turned into a ground cloth on the 3rd weekend trip. Valve failed, wouldn't hold air."

"Used it on a 4 day car camping trip. As recommended I did the pre-inflate at home before the trip and everything worked as expected. Easy to inflate. It was comfortable and held its air. If it continues to perform as well as it did for this one camping trip I'll be very happy with this purchase."

"Easy to use. Give it time to inflate or be impatient like me and assist a bit. Either way the pad held up well, letting me sleep comfortably protected through a cold night. My only issue us getting it back to a good carry size quicker."

"I am a side sleeper and slept well on these. The only down side is that they don't pack down as small as some of our previous mats."

"Overall I'd say this is a pretty good product. It allowed me to sleep on a hard floor comfortably. The only downside is it is pretty narrow. Lying on my back, my arms barely stay on the mat. An extra inch or two wide would fix this without needing to buy another mat."

"Happy with the quality upon receipt. Not sure what happened with other purchasers, but mine included a stuff sack and two elastic bands. Does need help inflating when initially opened, but after that it works like a charm. Comfort-wise it seems to be right in between my 1 inch entry-level camp mats and my more luxurious 2 1/2 inch base camp bed. Still nee..." Read more

"Very comfortable. Kneel on this as you deflate and roll it back up to fit in the sack as an effective technique. Customer service was great when I received the wrong color on accident. Great product, my girlfriend ordered one as well and she loves it."

"At first I thought there was a problem with it. Be sure to let it set overnight. It look like the foam was irregular thin on one side and thick on the other But after letting it set overnight, it straightened out and looked good. Seems comfortable. I cannot comment on durability. I store It behind a couch."

"Unpacked, left valve open for 24 hours. Doesn't seem like a 2 thick pad. More like 1 /1/4. Maybe with more time it will get better."

"Comfortable, durable material and lightweight. Only gave 4 stars because haven't had long enough or used enough for a 5 star."

"I'm a disaster deployer. I often find myself sleeping on cots. Got this as a little pudding. It self-inflates well. I blow in it to get it filled the rest of the way but even then it definitely is not 2 inches thick. It's provides a little cushion but not a lot."

"Works great. Does self inflate but I find I like to blow a little more air into it for added comfort. Does a decent job at keeping the cold away. Easy to pack/unpack. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the surface is a little slick and its easy to slide off if you move around in your sleep. If one side was flocked it would solve that p..." "Took my girlfriend camping for the 1st time. Wanted to make sure she liked it so we could go again. The Kamui mats made it amazing! So easy to use and so comfortable. Kept us warm and comfy. I own 4 of them now so we can take kids. Only knock is the valve. Feels a bit cheap and if it cracks, the mat becomes useless if you can't keep air in it. But so far no..." Read more

"I wanted 2 comfortable pads that connected. These are perfect and comfortable for base camps. These are not for hiking or backpacking. Too bulky and cumbersome but when you are camping with your vehicle nearby these are the best and most comfortable pads I've ever had. Great quality and you can snap 2 pads together which is way better than the Velcro ones I..." Read more

"This is a very good product and at the price, you really can't beat it. I do wish the compression straps were better (they're elastic, not great for really compressing the pad down tightly), but I'm not expecting high-end compression straps when the price is already really good on this item.Make sure to follow the directions before first use and fully inflat..." "I've bought 3 mattresses, all three got holes in it and after a first use (in house hosting a guests) , 1 was caused by sitting on a pad with a keys in the back pocket , the second mattress was punched in by my Border Collie steeping on it, and third one is unknown, but it was no surprise after seeing how easy it was to damage damage the other two.UPDATE. "I bought two of these for a family camping trip. The pads were very comfortable and easy to inflate. My only issue was how much space was between the gap of the two pads when attached. During one nap my kid's head slipped into the gap and when they woke up the back of their head was drenched in sweat. Otherwise, I really liked them and we'll use them again...." Read more

"After throwing away 10 Or so inflatable beds in my life I finally started looking for something different. This seemed to be a decent alternative. So far we have camped on it twice and the comfort level is moderate. It's not as cushy as an inflatable bed but you don't have to worry about two people rolling to the center. They roll up fairly small and are goo..." Read more

"I didn't notice any air leak so far (used only a few days). The weight is significant due to the thick memory foam (2), but that was my call. My problem with this pad is the width. While the thick foam offers very comfy padding for most of the body, my arms fall outside the pad and cause tension around the shoulders. I wish I could return this and look for a..." Read more

"After following the directions and letting the pad sit unrolled overnite with the valve open, I found it to be easy to mash flat with my adult weight. I had to add at least 10 deep puffs of air to achieve support. Not a big deal, as I have other pads that require blowing up. On the plus side, material seems very tough and able to withstand rigors of campi..." Read more

"The pads inflate easily, are comfortable to sleep on and are a good replacement and a much better value than the Thermarest pads I recently lost. They are a little stiff to roll up but that may ease with use. Two things I'm concerned about, 1. the snaps don't look real robust for daily snapping and unsnapping the pads. Time will tell. 2. The inflation caps c..." Read more
