"Absolutely outstanding breakfast!! I am so thrilled to discover this gem. I loved the eclectic "Portland Vibe" decor and the food was fabulous! The 52nd Avenue Potato Stack was delicious. It sat on a bed of crispy hash browns that were nice seasoned with a wonderful overflow of grilled cheese on the bottom. The mushrooms were delicious just on their..." Read more

"This place is fucking rad. I received a very generous mimosa and the food is so good. I didn't take a pic because I was too excited to eat it. It's got that old school Portland vibe we've been missing since 2005. Unassuming on the outside but upon entry you're immediately welcomed into open arms with the promise and delivery of everything awesome."

They made sure I was satisfied within 2 minutes of the arrival of my food. Kept my coffee full and were very polite and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you again midpoint!"

"Midpoint cafe has some great kitsch (e.g. "half cups" of coffee and vintage road signs), and I have been coming for years for the atmosphere--but I went Monday, and found that the food has greatly improved! I had a French toast Special, and it was gourmet quality-- crispy and delightful with whipped cream, worth every cent and every calorie.  And jus..." Read more

"Simply put, this is my favorite breakfast/brunch Place in Portland. The food is consistently terrific. The service is top notch. The cocktails are great. And there's something on the menu that anyone would love. It's great for carnivores, vegetarians  or vegans."

"First time trying Midpoint and will definitely be back. Good service, delicious food, nice ambiance. Husband had the quesadilla and I had the French toast special. Both were phenomenal. Delicious bloody mary. Went around 1 on a Saturday and all tables were full but only about a 15-20 minute wait. We will be back."

"My favorite neighborhood diner and my wife and I go often! They have imaginative specials that will satisfy your savory or sweet tooth cravings. The staff is wonderful and the "fork-mashed" potatoes are one of a kind. They also have a wonderful selection of breakfast cocktails and a full bar to brighten your morning."

"Part dive bar, part old timey cafe. The funky music and comfort food menu give you a warm and fuzzy feeling when you sit down. Not overly big so things feel homey and the decorations are fun. There really is only two words you need to know about the food - Meatloaf Sandwich! Get it, and bring a big appetite."

"This place is the best for a classic breakfast sandwich and a unique breakfast sandwich. I'm currently working my way through the menu-I like the basic with sausage on English muffin. While I don't buy American cheese for my fridge I LOVE it on a breakfast sandwich. Cocktails are perfect (and now to-go). I haven't made it for much but we will-this is on our..." Read more

"So good! The jam on the table was even good. We ordered the fried french toast because wtf even is that? But it was really good.
Also ordered the chillaquilles scramble was okay but i think chillaquilles made with fried egg on top is superior.
My partner got the chicken fried steak which i liked a lot so i ate his food too."

"I didn't think there were any hidden gems left in Portland.I was wrong!I met two old friends for breakfast here. The menu was fun and creative.  The place wasn't crowded. It has kind of a diner/divey atmosphere, but that is not at all how I would describe the food.  Food was fresh and fun.And the potatoes.  Oh man, the p..."
