"This is a cute little place. In a little strip mall kinda thing but it has great breakfast food. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast and some super yummy bacon. My wife had an breakfast quesadilla. Both were super delicious and good sized. It also has a full cocktail menu if you need a bit of the hair of the dog. Cute decor and a very friendly and attent..." "Friday night I decided to get dinner to go. Came to Midpoint to give it a try. Ordered burgers to go. While waiting, the waitress and the cook were quite friendly and personable. Do not serve fries here, it's Tater Tots, my favorite! Got the burgers home and was impressed. Special bun, hand pressed juicy patty, thick bacon, perfectly melted swiss cheese, gar..." Read more

"It was our first visit today and certainly won't be the last! I love the lowkey retro look of the place & the waitress was very attentive and nice. The coffee was good & the food was perfect! I was really surprised with how much I liked everything actually. It's just this really cute little diner that I'm really glad we found, we came because they serve brea..." Read more

"Due to my food allergies, I eat as a "Carnivorous Vegan." Midpoint made an egg free scramble with lots of veggies and meat. Best hash browns I've had in a long time-perfectly crispy! And proper farm style rye toast. Yummy!!"

"It's divey and close to home, so I've been here a few times. It's usually been pretty unassuming and convenient but this morning totally ruined any thoughts of returning. The waitress with yellow/green hair who was taking our order was so, so rude. She literally rolled her eyes at me (ROLLED HER EYES) when I said I needed a minute to look at the menu. My s..." "They ran out of guac for their bltg and ended up piling on the bacon to make up for it. My parters omlet was unmixed. They need a new chef. The waitress seemed over worked, and anti social. Not great."

"Went with the Angry Bird sandwich, because well... the name caught my attention. It was absolutely delicious. My friend and I also ordered the downtowner scramble, which was excellent. What a great place to get breakfast, as it feels like you're mixed in with the rest of the good-hearted Portlanders. I'd definitely rank this place up there with the Screen Do..." Read more

"Ordered breakfast to go right after they opened. We got the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich (added veggie sausage) and the breakfast quesadilla (added veggie sausage). Both were amazing. The sandwich was huge. If we're in the area, I plan on stopping back to dine-in."

"I've only been here for breakfast, but the whole family loves it. They make a rock-solid Bloody Mary and I hop around the breakfast menu quite a bit and haven't had a bad meal there, although I usually get a scramble called the 52nd or something like that. Try mashed potatoes instead of home fries/hashbrowns."

"I have been there NUMEROUS times due to the food they make. I can't take the time to make it at home and the sauce they use on the Mt St. Helens is just....great. I suggest.trying the green chili sauce along with it. Gives it a tangy bite that I miss by not being in Arizona anymore. My one issue is the fact our service (or lack thereof ) has consistently bee..." Read more

"My favorite breakfast place in town. Best food, best people, best everything. To top it off, they're always playing the sweet jams too. A little Budgie with your breakfast? Yes, please! Midpoint does me right, every time."

"An early morning. Cold, grey skies. A typical winter day in Portland. A bike ride. Midpoint. Warm and friendly staff. Shadow boxes with knick knacks. Blue wallpaper with white flowers. Rows of old mugs up high. Sullen country music over the speakers. Willie singing a slow duet with a woman. Hot chocolate with a drizzle of chocolate running over the whipped..." Read more

"A great find in an unassuming little strip mall. Their homemade tomato garlic soup was the best tomato soup I've ever had. Salads are crisp and fresh, loaded with veggies (and they make their own dressings, too). Baked goods are wonderful, and good coffee, too. Good service, and very reasonably priced. I will be back."
