"Delicious in every way! But don't go expecting the usual breakfast fare. No pancakes or waffles on this menu, I had the St. Helens sans the eggs and it was wonderful! Very friendly wait staff and much tastier than Boast. Oops, I meant Toast which is just down the street."

"Love the staff, food and 2 for 1 mimosas on the weekends! Perfect little brunch spot that is very vegan and vegetarian friendly too!"

"Quite a lovely, reasonably priced neighborhood place. Cocktails aren't the main draw, but they're done well, the breakfast food is consistently solid (the Angry Bird is highly recommended), there's plenty of vegan/veggie options, and it balances creative specials with basic stick to the ribs type food.

What more could you want?"

"I love love love this place. I'm glad they are open later. I've never had a bad meal or experience here. The decor is fun and well thought out with a variety of items from the sisters personal collection. The decor alone is worth a visit. The service whether it is the owners or their wait staff is always friendly fun and very accommodating. I had a hanke..." Read more

"The breakfast quesadilla was great, perfectly scrambled eggs inside, added the sausage, very filling. Quality, fresh ingredients, and did I mention the green salsa to go on it? Amazing flavor. Perfectly cooked hash browns. Not greasy at all, but crisp on the outside. Coffee was hot and robust. Service was very friendly and efficient. I found a new breakfast..." Read more

"My favorite new breakfast spot in SE Portland!  i've been here at least 6 times, having something different each time, and was blown away each time, but especially by the breakfast quesadilla.  I almost don't want to let this little secret out, but most days, even weekends, no lines/no waiting.  Just excellent.  The owner sisters are so charming, and the man..." "Don't let the facade  and location fool you. Midpoint is as pleasant a diner as any you'll find in Portland with decor that is comfy and fun. The service is as good and friendly as it gets and the food, yummy as all get out. We were excited when we heard the Dots duo were starting anew and the whole experience didn't disappoint. Midpoint will be a new spot o..." Read more

"Delicious. Just damn, damn delicious. I followed these gals over here from their past life on Clinton/26th and I'm glad I did. Now that they're up and running with a full kitchen and small but full bar? Finally I can have my own neighborhood joint-- in my own neighborhood. I loved the Dots tuna melt so much that I wasn't sure I could bring myself to order on..." Read more

"A hidden gem for sure! The storefront is so low-key that I would have never found my way in here if it weren't at the recommendation of a friend.  Glad I did. On the menu, one of the best tuna melts I've had and, at a later visit, without a doubt the best meatloaf sandwich ever! A very cute spot that is small and modest, but at the same time a nice atmosphere..." Read more

"We loved the former Lily Day Cafe, but were happily surprised when they reopened as Midpoint Food and Drink.  What a change!  The owners have remodeled and expanded, and now they have full breakfasts, lunches and dinner, full bar, later hours...We've been in two or three times since they opened a few days ago ; these folks really have a knack for creating a..." "New Year's Day black-eyed pea and ham soup made my Southern Girl wife's day.  So good, we ordered a potful to take home!  Seasoned restauranteurs who really didn't need to start up another eatery, but couldn't resist a great opportunity. First-rate experience!"

"This is a great neighborhood place to get brunch/lunch, never had a sandwich I didn't like! The Chateau is my current favorite and while we usually get to go orders which are promptly ready,  the service is also amazing dining in. They are always happy to give substitutions and have vegetarian/vegan options as well and great coffee!"

"This is my new favorite breakfast place. It's not crowded (in fact, I wish it were more crowded because I want it to be successful and around a long time), the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, decor is fun and funky, the gals in charge are super nice, and most importantly, the food is excellent. I always get the breakfast quiche with hash brown casserole...." Read more

"This place is a gem! I love the kitschy decor, the vintage-style booths, and the plentiful parking out front. The food is amazing! Their menu is fairly limited, though, offering only sandwiches, pastries, and hard and soft drinks. I've been there twice--once for breakfast and once for lunch and was pleased with both things I ordered. I most recently had the..." Read more

"This cafe is tucked away in an unlikely plaza in SE, and is a little pocket of yum. We stopped in for breakfast on a weekday, and left very full and very happy. If you have a chance, stop in. Their egg sandwiches are huge and delicious. I do hope they expand their hours soon, because I see this place becoming a habit."
