"We love the old diner feeling of this place! Lots of people enjoying their Saturday morning here when we went. I got the vegan chilaquiles with hash browns and the flavor was delicious . It's nice having this place a walking distance from our home!"

"Midpoint cafe has some great kitsch (e.g. "half cups" of coffee and vintage road signs), and I have been coming for years for the atmosphere--but I went Monday, and found that the food has greatly improved! I had a French toast Special, and it was gourmet quality-- crispy and delightful with whipped cream, worth every cent and every calorie. And jus..." Read more

"Simply put, this is my favorite breakfast/brunch Place in Portland. The food is consistently terrific. The service is top notch. The cocktails are great. And there's something on the menu that anyone would love. It's great for carnivores, vegetarians or vegans."

"First time trying Midpoint and will definitely be back. Good service, delicious food, nice ambiance. Husband had the quesadilla and I had the French toast special. Both were phenomenal. Delicious bloody mary. Went around 1 on a Saturday and all tables were full but only about a 15-20 minute wait. We will be back."

"My favorite neighborhood diner and my wife and I go often! They have imaginative specials that will satisfy your savory or sweet tooth cravings. The staff is wonderful and the "fork-mashed" potatoes are one of a kind. They also have a wonderful selection of breakfast cocktails and a full bar to brighten your morning."

"Part dive bar, part old timey cafe. The funky music and comfort food menu give you a warm and fuzzy feeling when you sit down. Not overly big so things feel homey and the decorations are fun. There really is only two words you need to know about the food - Meatloaf Sandwich! Get it, and bring a big appetite."

"This place is the best for a classic breakfast sandwich and a unique breakfast sandwich. I'm currently working my way through the menu-I like the basic with sausage on English muffin. While I don't buy American cheese for my fridge I LOVE it on a breakfast sandwich. Cocktails are perfect (and now to-go). I haven't made it for much but we will-this is on our..." Read more

"Humble, real-deal weirdos run this place. It's quintessential PNW cult-classic, Americana. I get the impression they have a lot of local regulars--after this meal I aspire to join them. I always walk by it and lust after the smells, and Im happy to report I wasn't disappointed. I got the 3-2-1 French toast, which was deep fried goodness--it reminded me of a..." Read more

"The only place we go for breakfast/brunch. It's homey and cozy, family owned and operated, and they always play rad music. The food is always perfect and fresh and I love their Bloody Mary. The meatloaf with red gravy is my favorite, their toast is buttered and grilled to perfection. Try the jam and hot sauces on every table. Booths fit 4/5 people and one ta..." Read more

"Hey, how can I get a couple gift certificates? Would love to help make sure Midpoint gets some much needed cash while we all hunker down and slow the spread of this virus. I hope others will buy some too!"

"So good! The jam on the table was even good. We ordered the fried french toast because wtf even is that? But it was really good.
Also ordered the chillaquilles scramble was okay but i think chillaquilles made with fried egg on top is superior.
My partner got the chicken fried steak which i liked a lot so i ate his food too."
