"Nice addition to the Foster/Powell neighborhood. Ive only tried the breakfast so far and it was great, its nice to see proper old school shredded has browns, instead of more of the same old home fries. I will most definetly be back to try more menu items."

"I love love love this place. I'm glad they are open later. I've never had a bad meal or experience here. The decor is fun and well thought out with a variety of items from the sisters personal collection. The decor alone is worth a visit. The service whether it is the owners or their wait staff is always friendly fun and very accommodating. I had a hanke..." Read more

"The breakfast quesadilla was great, perfectly scrambled eggs inside, added the sausage, very filling. Quality, fresh ingredients, and did I mention the green salsa to go on it? Amazing flavor. Perfectly cooked hash browns. Not greasy at all, but crisp on the outside. Coffee was hot and robust. Service was very friendly and efficient. I found a new breakfast..." Read more

"What. A. Great. Place. I stopped by for breakfast. The service is fast and friendly, the grill man knows how to do eggs, bacon, and hash browns, and the prices are reasonable. The best feature other than the food? NO LINES. The second best feature? Everything is so clean. I don't think you can go wrong here."

"My favorite new breakfast spot in SE Portland! i've been here at least 6 times, having something different each time, and was blown away each time, but especially by the breakfast quesadilla. I almost don't want to let this little secret out, but most days, even weekends, no lines/no waiting. Just excellent. The owner sisters are so charming, and the man..." Read more

"We love Midpoint. This is one of the best places to eat in Portland. Tell enough people that they stick around for a good long time, but not so many that may favorite brunch spot gets so busy we have to wait for a table all the time. :-) The food is so great. The Angry Bird sandwich is one of our favorites, but anything that comes with the red gravy is al..." Read more

"Great service, great food. If you were driving through the country and stopped at a truck stop dinner run by hipsters that cared about what they served, you'd have Midpoint."

"Great food, cozy ambience. Went there for lunch today. Soup and sandwiches were all excellent. One of our group ate breakfast for lunch, and gave the scramble and hash browns an enthusiastic thumbs-up. We will definitely be going back to Midpoint soon."

"Don't let the facade and location fool you. Midpoint is as pleasant a diner as any you'll find in Portland with decor that is comfy and fun. The service is as good and friendly as it gets and the food, yummy as all get out. We were excited when we heard the Dots duo were starting anew and the whole experience didn't disappoint. Midpoint will be a new spot o..." Read more

"This little diamond in the rough is hidden in the corner of FOPO. It is super clean and decorated as if your grandma had style and hung out with Martha Stewart. The kitchen has an open face so you can see your food being cooked in a very clean kitchen. The food was amazing They had everything from your basic two egg breakfast up to almost gourmet, but not so..." Read more

"Delicious. Just damn, damn delicious. I followed these gals over here from their past life on Clinton/26th and I'm glad I did. Now that they're up and running with a full kitchen and small but full bar? Finally I can have my own neighborhood joint-- in my own neighborhood. I loved the Dots tuna melt so much that I wasn't sure I could bring myself to order on..." Read more

"A hidden gem for sure! The storefront is so low-key that I would have never found my way in here if it weren't at the recommendation of a friend. Glad I did. On the menu, one of the best tuna melts I've had and, at a later visit, without a doubt the best meatloaf sandwich ever! A very cute spot that is small and modest, but at the same time a nice atmosphere..." Read more

"Seriously good eats, but even more than that, the atmosphere is that of a neighborhood diner. You can rub elbows with and get to know your neighbors. The sisters who run the place are lovely--they seem to love what they do--and they hire people like that, too. Full bar. Great beer. Lots of veggie and vegan options, too."
