"Muqueca was delicious!! The steak tips were soft, onions perfectly sautéed, and fries crispy. I was greeted in Portuguese and was able to practice my speaking as wait staff are all bilingual (I am a bilingual Spanish speaker). Every part of Muqueca is authentic - decor, waitstaff, food, music etc... I will be visiting again!!"

"Great restaurant for family and friends. All the food was tasty and hearty. Staff is friendly. Will definitely be back when I'm craving seafood and rice.
Must get a side of fried yucca: fried perfectly and not dry, with a great spicy sauce for dipping."

"They don't take reservations and half of the party got there to celebrate our friend's engagement but they said they couldn't sit us because the whole party wasn't there! This is ridiculous, rejecting business and not making guests feel welcomed! The restaurant wasn't even busy!"
